The swearing in of Obama was really a eye opener. He never asked votes on race,religion or caste.He reached our to every segment before and after polls.Even in oath taking the name of God was taken with pride and honour.

Dutt is right about the self-proclaimed secularism of both the parties. But it was his father who went to meet Bal Thakrey to get Sanjay out of prison. One can only wonder their "secularism".

Because Sharad Pawar betrayed Sunil Dutt by getting Sanjay Dutt arrested though earlier he had promised not to do so. You will rememeber that when Pawar was Defence Minister, some notorious criminals travelled with him, that too in Govt. plane.
Just b'coz sidhu got to contest doesnt necessarily wipe away his past misdeeds... I am a fan of Sanjay the Actor ...but I would be taking my fandom a lil too far if I have to vote ssomeone like him who is an erstwhile 'drug addict', 'was in illegal possession of weapons', 'was indirectly involved in a blast , got married with legal controversies, had multiple tapped phone conversations with underworld .... Shows true colors of Sanjay Dutt. This man was missing from the peace march on mumbai streets also after 26/11, when even people like Javed and Shabana joined. That time this man's secular parties failed to save the nation from the hands of foreign invaders. Only if this man would have been dining in Taj that night...
