Tunku

Tunku's wishful thinking of Obama visiting India will happen only when India open itself for Kashmir resolution. Unlike the previous presidents, Obama is well aware of the sub-continental problems.Even during the transition, vice-president elect Joe Biden visited Pakistan and not India. Hillary makes her first visit abroad to Asia and yet she ignored INdia. Preemptive attack on the US ppolicies regarding Kashmir before Halbrook's visit to India by the Indian press and policy makers has not been much of help. Wait for next four years for a US president to visit India. Remember, during the first four years of Clinton presidency, US did not have an ambassodor to India. As long as US and Pak are involved in Afghanisthan, Kashmir will be in their mind. And India has to live with it.

Who is Tunku Varadarajan?? Does he understand the politics?? Rediff has no administration. Any one can write anything without study and knowledge. I do not see any good article on Rediff. All the news and articles are very old and repeated.

NO BODY SALUTES SETTING SUN ?

No point talking to present set of people in NEW DELH> It will not achieve anything. No policy decisions can be taken - and if taken - maynot be honoured after 3 months when GENERAL ELECTIONS are over.

Americans know which side of the BREAD to BUTTER.
