Rape is the most terrible thing that can happen to a woman/girl. Men who have written here don't even understand the rubbish they write. This is not a religious issue, it may be that being a foreigner rape is being written and read about in the media. It is tragic that Indian women are not given importance, but it is a start and we can insist the same importance be given to Indian victims, not treat them as if the women are the culprits. Goa may be relatively more western with the beaches, but the men’s mentality is Indian. There should be warnings about taking care otherwise Goa will become a symbol of rape in India. As for the rich and politicians, money doesn’t mean they are educated or have manners. These are simply people who have become rich quickly but without civic sense or respect for others. Any and all rapists should be punished properly so it acts as a deterrent. I invite all women to complain of even attempted rape or any assault. It is time to bring public attention to this horrible crime.

These outside peoples are trying to spoil the name of our descent Goa state. these girls come to goa and satisfy their thirst and then spoil the names of some respectful families. If really she was raped they why is she not giving herself for test examination? This is all politics.

Are you insane.....do you by any chance know the accused families....They are the biggest goons in goan politics. Education Minister Atanasio Monserratte & State Public Works Department Minister Churchill Alemao, are both greatest Law breakers in goa.
First try to respect Girl. We r not a tissue paper to use n throw. We have emotions & feelings too. This idiot politicians sons they r always use to do this becoz of their fathers pawar n position. What his father is doing he is big gunda definetly he will support his son. What they think of themself they can do anything on the bases of money.
