I believe in a country like India were all kinds of terrible things happen , we can show the world how open minded and kind we are by allowing same sex marriages.India is anyway the AIDS capital of world with 200 millions AIDS patients, so i do not think any harm in allowing GAY marriages in INdia as well

What u hv quoted is a scripture not a science book. Also, sex between m/f causes spread of syphillis, chlymedia, gonorrhoea, AIDS and HPV. So by your logic God did not want us to have straight sex also?

Conspiracy theories aside, first of all, the U.S. pharma companies don't have an agenda to spread AIDS in India...we're doing an admirable job of it ourselves...through our lack of education, information and repression of sex (which we're so inefficient in...ergo the 1.3 billion population).
India is the country making strides in creating cheap medications for HIV/AIDS...so are you saying that by your logic, that Indian pharma companies are looking to make a long term buck off of AIDS?
Second, homosexuals aren't the biggest reason for AIDS in India...heterosexuals are.
Read up about the men who have sex with other men (of course, they would NEVER call it homosexuality, just MSM (men having sex with men) and prostitutes and then take it back to their wives.
Third, as someone rightly mentioned above, there are a lot of STDs in the heterosexuals (syphillis, chlymedia, gonorrhoea, AIDS and HPV), which cannot be attributed to gays.
