N-deal moving faster-disastrous to India
by Gopal on Nov 05, 2008 11:33 PM

Friends
It seems the N-deal is taking hidden path to make way for the debt trap. Read 'Global crisis: Positive spinoffs for India' rediff column 4.11.08 Vandana Gombar

The Government is all set to move forward giving wrong, unrealistic and sometime absurd projections and assumptions. Just to appease the people to swallow the 'poison fruit'.

NO public hearings arranged for project establishments as required under various acts
Negotiations arranged without Parliament's clearance for the 123 agreement
Life of nuclear plants is taken as 60 years (absurd)
Availability of Uranium is not ensured in the project report
Empirical estimate of the projects kept as low as possible
Decommissioning cost is related to the energy generated (absurd)
Cost escalation of Uranium in course of time is not considered
Silence about PPA and unit energy cost in course of time
Modular construction method is adopted for projects allowing nuclear junks in Indian soil
No control over bringing in obsolete parts
123 agreement does not allow for technology transfer and so India can not export know-how.
When Uranium is scarce there will not be demand for Uranium based projects
The maths followed for computing the nuclear power tariff is not completely clear
Liability of the company in case of accident is not fixed

All moves are rapped under the word 'confidential'
Horse trading of the highest scale is going on.
MPs from all parties including LEFT and NDA are targeted

Mass hypnosis by English Media
by Gaurav Sharma on Nov 05, 2008 07:11 AM  | Hide replies

our english media channels like CNN-IBN, NDTV etc are now indulging in mass hypnosis just before assembly elections as congress is in no position to defeat BJP in atleast states.
This mass hypnosis was also carried out by Jewish dominated media in US to incite war against afghanistan, iraq and iran in near future.
Please do not fall prey to them.. all pseudo-secular forces such as congress, samajwadi, CPI, CPI-M etc. are behind this as these english channels are run by communists
Hitler also did that to incite germans into worldwar
We have to stand up for sadhvi and even indian military has not been spared now as they are trying to link RDX theory with it. It is a well know fact that only muslim terrorists have access to RDX through pak, china and bangladesh

Indian law applies depending on person's religion
by Tathagata Mukherjee on Nov 05, 2008 05:44 AM  | Hide replies

Indian law applies if a person's religion is Hindu.

If he/she is a Muslim- hmm...votebank comes into effect.

Here is foremost Editor from North East, DN Bezbarua writes after Assam blast:

As recently as three weeks ago, Asom Chief Minister

Tarun Gogoi informed the National Integration Council (NIC) that there were no Bangladeshis in Asom at all. And what about

the Centre? The Centre believes that it is being ‘secular’ every time it chooses to make the application of any law subject

to the religion of the criminal. It is a clear case of reverting to the old practice in the Central Secretariat that hinged

on the maxim “You show me the man, and I’ll show the rules”. It has been modified now to: “You tell me the man’s religion,

and I’ll tell you whether the law can be applied to him or not”. If a criminal is a Hindu, he can be arrested and sent for

trial without anybody having to be asked. But woe befalls anyone who ventures to apprehend a ‘minority’ citizen for even the

worst of crimes like murder and treason – especially treason. We have Afzal Guru, tried by the Supreme Court and sentenced to

death for masterminding the attack on our Parliament in which several of our security personnel lost their lives. Even though more than a year has gone by since he was sentenced, he has not yet been hanged. The UPA government just does not have the guts to hang him before the Lok Sabha elections of 2009.

district of Uttar Pradesh who had been arrested in connection with the serial blasts. Worse, now there is an attempt even to

turn the brave police officer, Inspect Sharma.

Re: Haj subsidy
by TRUTHISGOLDEN on Nov 05, 2008 01:31 AM
sir according to the statistics, muslims are downtrodden lot sir. the learned and educated people like us, do pay taxes. other uneducated go to middle east and send billions of indian rupees back to india. when you are not calculating the income muslims are bringing back, why should u be small enough to calcualte the haj facility provided to hardly few thousand every year. they have changed the rule sir, infact they are now giving subsidy only to a small number. since haj is mandatory to who ever can afford, even poor should get a chance to visit it. sir hardly few thousand get an approval to visit mecca not every one sir. out of which haj subsidy is for less than half of them. either way sir, we as indians should be broad thinkers not think like rat which often moves around the corners biting this and that. we indians are not rats sir
