Angrez left but there is another class in India that inherited spoils of Ghora and who have NO respect for their peasants, labours from poor countryside.
I agree, angrez were first to damage and the damage still lives in a certain class among India. Those who say Angrez did good for India should know angrez did not rule Germany, Japan, Italy and yet they did goo.d

Same reason why people in North East are so much frustrated with Indians. You see only Indians exploiting the beautiful North East and that is exactly the same reason, why we are demanding independence from India and Indians. We have had enough of Indians, Bangladeshis in North East. Its time to explode like Tibetans in North East. World is not paying attention to North East India, how people are being cheated by Indian govt for so long over there, simply because North East people are not in New York, Netherlands, Tokyo, Belgium, unoike the Tibetans.

violence will not give Tibetans the freedom
by D S on Mar 23, 2008 08:25 PM

China has lot of money and power. Autonomy for Tibet needs a planning, disengagement, spiritual connection. Dalai Lama is better intellectual than Chinese or Indians, he has vision similar to EU where Tibet is autonomous within that Asian Economic Union.

I can write more about the threat to it and wasted emotions but no need for this time, have written already.

Chinese genocide in Tibet
by Rangarajan on Mar 23, 2008 08:08 PM  | Hide replies

The end to Chinese arrogance and hypocricy is round the corner.Tibet will be China'swaterloo.
China's claim that 100 countries support it is a blatant lie.

In my recent visit to China i could see that the illuision of china is purely a coastal phenomenon. In reality 300 MIILION chinese live like slaves without any labour rights or human dignity. There is no democracy unlike India and the western nations shut their mouth looking to sell in chinese market(remember what google did to chinese govt pressures). The bubble will burst shortly in Tibet.
I URGE rediff to open a exclusive "Save tibet" campaign similar to what ND TV did to project tiger .This is much severe than Tiger since the Dragon can never be trusted and is dangerous to world peace. The chinese feel like Hongkong they could repeat this in Tibet.India should extend all help to the Dalailama since we need to pay them back to what they are doing in Arunachal to which we have not woken up still.

We should do all it takes to embarass the chinese before Beijing olympics and pull the carpet under them.I urge a 25000 north easterners shiuld be trained urgently like Mukthi bahini and enter Lhasa in 5 stages to support the local Tibetans.Once the fire spreads it is only a matter of time before China with its contradictions and secrecy explodes under its own weight.Hope MK Narayanan is awake and not gone to sleep .

Keng dorgi on behalf of one million Tibetans in India !

saying Chinese is wrong is like the Ants saying the elephant is wrong to walk all over it.

What is needed is altogether different approach than venting anger and frustration and desperation.

But such acts, wrong sort of people benefit.

Anil Bharali,
Why all theese violence erupted? Did you ever tried to analyze that? No because you are a commie monger who is bloody supported and dog of china. Chines Has have suppresses tibetians for years and tibetians have been deprived of basic human rights in their own home land. This the basic reason. And more over, you bloody dogs will never understand the Chinese media filtration, they will show only things which have been done by Tibetians but wont shown anything about the atrocities carried out by Chinese military. So first open up your mind and see beyond whatever you get to see in TV.

At least this is a start to the ushering in of democracy into China by its own people. Communism and Maoism will fail; it should fail for the world to survive now.

after 1989,only few so-called democratic personals went abroad. They are living on american's support, and serve for USA.
Many real democratic personals still living in China,do their best to make the country better. But whether they support communist or democracy, they all support that tibet is the integral part of china ,foreign country should not interfere in

I think Tibetian should think about merging into China.
For their economic and social condition, it'll be benefitial.

And I don't think it is really possible for Tibet to be a seperate and free country now.
It'll take a world war like situation for that to have some probability of happening.

Chinese army will crush the protest by killing each and every one of tibetian but they won't evaccuate Tibet.
So there is little use in doing all this.

Sir,
Did we ever think the British would quit India for whatever reason ? Freedom is prime and each one of us want it. It is difficult to get freedom we got it after 300 years and must thank our leaders of the time. Imagine India under colonial rule perhaps we would be no better than Africa.

Mr Kulkarni : People are guided by their quest for freedom, not economic or social conditions. If it were, the AAM AADMI of India would not have chosen to join Gandhiji's fight for freedom. And if people fear for their lives, they will be easily overcome. One needs to go back in history to recall all that happened.
