At least one man who was once an MP is on the job getting things done for the poor victims of the Mumbai Train blasts. On the other hand Congress govt is ready to give out crores of rupees to the Gujarat Riot victims. Is it a crime to be a Hindu in this country ?

All Indians are Hindu by geographic definition. I am a Hindu, george Fernandes is a Hindu, Shankarcharya is also a hindu.
One can be a Hindu Vedantist, Hindu Muslim, Hindu Sikh, Hindu buddhist etc

bald eagle american dude. That is the virtue of hindu countries. They have declared themselves secular. Show me one secular muslim country. Turkey? Yeah right! it declared itself as tolerant to join EU and benefit and not because of respect to other religions.

dear still learning abcd. Turkey is secular country for more than 50years. At that time there was nothing like EU.
all govt institutions work in the same manner while giving any compensation to any person and make money during the process of compensations and pay no heed to their plight even if they are achievers and not victims actually
They did not fit the eligibility criteria. A man who lost his limb was denied job as he was 69% injured and not required 79%. Similiar excuse was given to some injured for not giving them compensation of Rs 50,000 even as some lost abilities to hear, write and ran up bills in excess of 5 lakhs in surgeries. Now railways has sent notices to some victims directing them to repay the interest back on delayed compensations that was given out. Mera Bharat Mahaan.

It is hurting to read that victims are facing so many problems for getting the compensation just due to the procedural formalities . when someone is in trouble then treatment to him/her should be given first priority instead of all these rules n regulations. why govt and railways are pushing matter to one another for providing help in the form of artificial limbs or hearing aids? do the govt or railways think that victims are needing these things for entertainment purpose? One separate ministry should be formed for handling of the disasters and due care should be taken until the vicims are fully recovered. If tragedies, whether it may terrorist attacks or natural calmaities, can not be avoided 100% then its victims should get full justice. At last whatever expenditure govt is doing for the victims, it is people's maoney and not someone's personal property. When victims will get 100% justice then n then we can say we are truly following the concept of democracy: "The system run by the people for the people..."
...other tha Kirit Somaiya,what work has each of the MLA's who were elected done for these people? How i wish one of relatives of these power mongers had experienced the nightmare!!!!!it is the apathy of the "aam janta" towards these issues that make these govt's unaacountable at large....PLEASE CITIZENS WAKE UP AND FIGHT FOR EACH OTHER OR ELSE THE LOOT IS ON.....................

The Interesting part of minority and this country is that India is the only country where people fight to prove that they are a minority group. It goes to show the lack of knowledge from a group of individuals who dont fight to show off their stengths, rather they are proud and are willing to fight for being the minority. Hats off to them and their judgement. Really mera bharat mahan.

for ur information Mr Islamkhan, out of the victims just 1 was a muslim and the others were from different community.So dont think that ur community is the only sufferer in this blast, but there are people like you who are also sufferers.

Islamkhan you people will never be satisfied. Even even a relief has been provided to you, you would cry by saying that such less relief has been provided because we are kafirs, who care for kafirs.
I guess people like you should be kicked out in Pakistan. You would see the condition there and then only you would realise that India was and is heaven for muslims.

Hi Islamkhan. This fellow is right, you are lucky to live in India.Pakistan is true hell.Dont ever in the wildest dream think of coming to this country.India is really a heaven.India has really cared so much for our Muslim brothers i dont think so that these people would have enjoyed so much of liberty and privileges in Pakistan.Pakistan is on the verge of destruction.Its sad that i have to say it myself but thats the true picture that i am discussing. Nobody wants to return to Pakistan once they leave the country for job in a diffrent countries. I dream of coming to India, but unfortunately i wont be able to make it. Islamkhan wherever you are stay there and be happy and be thankful to Allah that you are not in Pakistan
