Convenient use of the the

This racial discrimination crap is bologni. What does this rapist's family think? Do they really believe that going to India and holding a rally is going to save this guy from imprisonment. I am amazed at how immigrants conveniently use discrimination and resort to their home countries when they are in trouble. This guy deserves to be put away for life so that he does not commit any more crimes

The guy and his sister had no qualms about trying hard to be Americanized in America. And now that he faces life imprisonment there, suddenly his sister comes to India and tries to pose as an Indian who has been wronged in America. Don't give bhav to these pseudo criminals! There are much, much more important issues for Indians to worry about! Remember, this Anand Jon was convicted by a jury and not a single judge and too too after hearing numerous witnesses. And what is his sister and mother trying to say now? That all witnesses were out to frame Anand Jon!!! Give me a break!!

I do not know the details of Anand Jon case but I can say New Jersey is legally corrupt & racially segregated and is more corrupt & racist than any Indian state. Here Indians are murdered, racially discriminated, brutalized by Police and courts.Indians can be beaten up after being handcuffed or trampled with boots in front of the so called Leadership. Can be deported in violation of US Law & human rights besides spending over $100,000.00 just to save a Constable accused of Police Brutality under racial bias. 5 & 9 yr old can be stopped at Gun Point, a house wife can be intimidated, abused and threatened for filing a complaint against a habitual speed violator of hitting her car in the back when her 41/2 yr old son who had a open heart surgery was traveling with her. NJ Police called the entire Indian community, Cockroaches, Animals, Illiterates and illegal go home in the presence of Media. These are the worst ever called Racial Slurs in American history for any community.

Without getting into the merits of the Anand Jon case where the charges have been blown up spanning over 3 states by same women, I agree with Sanjana Jon that her brother will never get any justice and a fair Trial for being an Indian. I don't think Anand family can spend $5 million like Duke University Players for him. I wish Bill & Hillary should have been in White House Sanjana could have got Presidential Pardon for her brother like Mark Rich a fugitive who owes $58 million to IRS got

Do not indulge in false accusation without any fact. No such thing like calling cockroaches, animals etc in front of media happened anywhere in the united states. New Jersey is a state where law and order is very tough, but that does not mean that they discriminate Indians. If even 10% of what you said was true, all Indian business from that state would have left for some other state. But in reality, NJ is the most Indian populated state and most of the Indian businesses are happily coexisting with other local business. If you don't believe, go to Edison, NJ. Dont spread lies here in media.

I don%u2019t know the details of Jon%u2019s case but I can say New Jersey is legally corrupt & racially segregated and is more corrupt & racist than any Indian state. Here Indians are murdered, racially discriminated, brutalized by Police and courts. The so called Indian Leadership, Media in NJ & NY and Indian Consulate in NY are like British Time Rai Bhadurs & Rai Sahibs licking the feet of rulers and don%u2019t feel like helping less fortunate in the community. People can bribe Indian officials for some BS Pravasi Bhartiya Award but can not give $2 dollars to a 23 yr old Medical student or 4 & 7 yr old children in distress or can stand up for the rights of victims of gross injustice under Racial Bias. Indian witnesses are considered not credible, Indians can be beaten up after being handcuffed or trampled with boots in front of the so called Leadership. Can be deported in violation of US Law & human rights besides spending over $100,000.00 just to save a Constable accused of Police Brutality under racial bias. 5 & 9 yr old can be stopped at Gun Point, a house wife can be intimidated, abused and threatened for filing a complaint against a habitual speed violator of hitting her car in the back when her 41/2 yr old son who had a open heart surgery was traveling with her. i think the point is that he DIDN'T have sex with minors. in following this story the girls are making it up. they've been collaborating to set him up. in the story it mentiones that they had been communicating and exchanging scripts to get their stories straight.

fame, fortune, revenge - these are powerful aphrodisiacs in this "reality show" world that we are now a part of. haven't you watched americas next top model, ugly betty or the movie john tucker must die? all these are examples of the way that this myspace generation think.

It's a sad day when rape is being used as an excuse by these girls that so want to be famous that they accuse club owners, fashion designers, musicians, actors etc. it seems that anyone in the spotlight with any notariety or name that they've worked hard for has to worry about young girls (and guys) that don't want to work, want the easy way to success and will do anything to get it.

look at the Duke University case. fact: the girls lied. FACT: the boys were found innocent. fact: collectively they spent US$5 million defending themselves
Fact: the prosecution lied. fact: the prosecutor lost his job, his license to practice law and spent one day in jail.

in my opinion, the prosecutor should've spent more time in jail. when a prosecutor knowingly lies or falsifies information or withholds evidence exhonorating the defendant then that prosecutor should spent the same amount of time in jail as the wrongly accused did.

please look into the case, official documents that are available online, he pleaded guilty to having sex with all of the women - he just says he thought they were over 18. I wish people would stop sugarcoating the truth and looked at facts! Even if he is framed, it still means he committed crimes. He admitted to sleeping with all of these girls! what a great guy he is. And please don't delete this post, there is nothing offensive about it! Just pointing out the truth.

Its not an Individual case but of a global issue
by Ajesh KC on Jan 24, 2008 05:15 PM

its certainly be a global issue as people are facing these kinds of discrminations and violation basic human rights at their job place or migrated countries.

So every human beings should react to these kind of proceedings in the name of the almightly God as it serves humanity.

it may happen for an Indian, Pakishtani, etc but should not be discriminated in the court of trials as it violates the basic human rights.

Anyway hope it will bring a positive reponse

I wish every sucess to Sanajan and Sashai Abraham
