I am appalled at some of the comments posted here. For a crime committed by a few, entire communities are being targeted - forcing even more in the community to join them. Dalai Lama himself had once said that Indian Muslims are the most tolerant in the world. The trouble with some of those who comment in these forums are they live/work exclusively in their own communities without (and avoiding) any contact with other communities. If you live together, you can see that they all are humans, and share the same basic human emotions of love, sorrow, family etc. Once you understand that these, you will accomodate the little differences and enjoy staying with anyone - Hindu or Muslim or Christian

Extraordinarily large percentage of terrorists are from a community, So, it is better general public be cautious. The amount of jihaadis is too much for your take of holding coummunities blah blah blah hold water.

Very fact that none from the community is raising any voice against terrorism and religion issuing decrees (fatwas), public should be extremely cautious about guys from that community if the subject is not known persoanlly. Better be careful.

Good to read the views of anoop.india need people like you.according to various reports the press along with some officials are spreading various stories from their imagination(abt muslims) to increase the sales of their papers and some internet sites.people with limited general knowledge, partial or no knowledge of thier faiths tenents, and who are easily suggestible fall into this trap and write hate mails.as it can be seen from the messages of some people here.being a hindu i feel ashamed that people who call themselves behave like ignorant fools.
God save the world.God save india

Too early to give credit to them. They are known for inefficiency in getting terrorists and our "Maanige magae" are not the kind used to do encounters. Example of their inefficience in nabbing Sivarasan (LTTE) - couple of slipped chances and police from other state found him and killed him in an encounter ???

THE ENEMY INSIDE THE HOUSE IS MORE DANGEROUS THAN OUTSIDE ENEMY.YAHYA KHAN AND HIS FOLLOWERS ARE INSIDE ENEMIES.THESE BUGS SHOULD BE DISTROYED FIRST.KARNATAKA POLICE GET EARLY SMELL ABOUT THE PROBLEM /PLANNING / PEOPLE LIKE THIS.THEY MAY IGNORE OTHERS FOR THE TIME BEING UNTIL IT BECOME TOO MUCH.

Muslims are muslims first & last & they will never be first Indians. Best thing is get rid of all muslim techies in our Silicon Valley & other major centres and stop them even from access to internet / phones etc.

NUMBER OF MUSLIMS WORKING IN THE INDUSTRY IS VERY LOW. EMPLOYERS WILL THINK TWICE BEFORE RECRUITING MUSLIMS AGAIN. THIS WILL CREATE MORE PROBLEMS FOR GOOD EDUCATED MUSLIMS. BECAUSE OF HYPOCRACY IN THEIR OWN COMMUNITY AND POOR EDUCATION, %AGE OF EMPLOYEABLE MUSLIMS IS VERY LOW. ITS IS LIKE PUTTING AXE ON THERE OWN FEET. WHAT A SHAME! CAN ANY ONE TELL WHAT THEY WILL ACHIVE BY BLASTING BOMBS AND KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE? NOBODY WILL FORGIVE SUCH ELEMENTS?

This in turn can have a bad impact on the society : As Yahya planned; many educated youth will start their own organization and hire staff from their own community !

Though educated lot among their youth are less in numbers there is no dearth for older member in unreleated businesses such as commodities or consumer items. One investor is enough to put up a firm in vengeance.

I feel instead of spreading negative awareness; it is good to call onto their leaders to create positive approach and loyalty to the nation.

Loyalty to which nation? Muslims do not have a nation where they are in a minority. Hence their only aim would be to become majority. To achieve this end they are permitted to do every kind of 'jihad'.

The recent turn out of events show a very dangerous trend of educated Muslims being arrtacted towards terrorism. It also shows that the islamic terrorists have expanded their network and very soon a disaster is bound to occur.

KETAN PALEKAR
A dangerous trend
by KETAN PALEKAR on Feb 25, 2008 01:36 PM

This is turning out to be a dangerous trend. Educated people turning to terrorism can have far dangerous consequences than even 9/11. In today's world you can do much more damage with a computer than a gun. Imagine financial and other critical data getting completely wiped out of the systems of big organizations. This can have disastrous consequences as it can affect millions of people. Also internet has made money laundering earier and hence financing of terrorism has become earier. Governments across the world need to adress this issue on a war footing. Imagine if a lethal virus injected in to computers is programmed to bring down satellites on to earth or launch nuclear missiles. The scenario is much more dangerous than it looks.
