in india police is meant only to protect politicians .they r just spineless part of our adminstration .they just know hw to SALAAM their political masters and are used and raped by the politicians to settle scores. no common man has evr felt secure with a policeman because the policeman uses his powers to harass and intimidate the poor helpless people who have no protection. and when i say policeman i mean the dgp to the constable on the street....they r the same ...all corrupt inefficient brutal and worthless.. there is no law and order worth the name. the only saving grace is that the citizens are basically docile and too poor to even revolt
When males believe that they can do as they wish and that women who are not protected from head to toe are "asking for it", we can see rape, assault and murder of women by men. If the govt. of India does a massive campaign on the equal rights of men and women,probably men could be cured of their brainwashing that makes them think they are superior and can dispose of women as and how they like. Police, yes we always come back to this critical link between legality and crime. In our country we do not even think of reporting crime to the police because we know that nothing will come out of it, on the contrary the victim will be victim again of police brutality and abuse of power. That or the victim will have to pay out bribes to get anything done. Any other democratic country, the police is a friend of the public, it protects and serves the public, but not so in India. This is shameful and the Home Ministry would do well to set out and shakedown the police force, reforming it and making it worthy of its name. The same of the law. Justice must be equal for all, rich or poor, politically powerful or powerless citizen. The backbone of a civilised country is the law and those that uphold it. Goondaism and thuggery must cease. The time is ripe for change, can our leaders rise to it and overcome their self-serving attitudes to reform India?

Is this the same land of GOD where women were so safe that they could bathe in open rivers and no one used to touch or see them with reference to utter dignity and respect for women and more over "Fear of God"?

We have been used to seeing innocent people murdered, raped and sexually abused or used everywhere even in corporates. Right? What did we do when a bunch of Terrorists sexually abused innocent people at TAJ Hotel and then brutally murdered them?

The government and rulers have to think about what reputation we are getting.
Is power and money so important that the lives and happiness of citizens becomes irrelevant ?
Is justice more important or protecting criminal goons just because they are friends,relatives of people in power ?
Is a clean governance more important or making money and getting elected at any cost even using goondaism ?
What can Krishna or Rama do, they did everything they could to set up good examples if people dont follow it who is to blame ??? people or the avatars ?
The whole issue arises bcoz of the VIP status of the politicians and the people who bank on association with them.
Such associations get away with a mere telephone call. Apart from bribing this is one more aspect which has to be looked upon. Some times the police have to mend ways fearing their transfer.
Some new laws should be brought in our constitution. Although VIP status for politicians is not the constitution, it has been prevailing for quite a long time. Thanks Congress again! This being the main cause for leading our country to Corruption Chaos.
INDIA cannot be a SUPER POWER unless we decide to be honest to our own people! and make it grow and prosper with humility and pride both!
I think Vishwajeet Rane should have been bashed by GOA people long back. If anyone sees him anywhere in INDIA, bash him up or if atleast SPAT on him!
Same should be done with all poiticians. If a person can throw a shoe at George Bush, whay cant we SPAT in MOBS on these filthy politicians?

India is land of corruption where police is worst, judiciary is stinking, shame on us. The country where no girls are safe even near or inside police station.
No big deal when police rape girls in broad day light in Nariman point in police beat, where else do you think Indian law is safe. Indian system is good for criminals, govt servants and politicians, but not for citizens or tourists or visitors.
it is highly unsafe and dangerous country , not because of criminals but criminals who are penetrated by broken law, corrupt police, stinking judiciary. Indian courts system and police is more helpful for criminals than common public.
