India is not a Hindu Nation and we have had muslims in India for over 1000 yrs now

What happened during the Great War in Srilanka during Ramayana?
Or during the Mahabharata?
Or is it just mythology?

I pity people like you and Mr. Ramesh. Please take out time and reflect on yourself, if not take the help of your religion and then make such statements. Because your mentality doesnt differ from any terrorist. Hinduism just like other great religions like judaism, christianity, Islam etc doesnt teach violence for opressing innocent people. May god and peace be with you. Amen.

terrorist attack on taj
by das on Dec 01, 2008 09:05 PM  | Hide replies

i wonder how such a posh hotel cld be captured by terrorists without the knowledge of their own security. so many arms and ammunition cld not hv escaped the attention of somebody in the hotel complex and especially the security who r meant for it. it is really perplexing how a hotel like taj could allow the infiltrators who caused so much damage to life and property.

REALLY I AGREE WITH YOU IN ALL COUNTS, HOME DEPT. NEVER TOOK THE INTELLIGENCE WARNING AND THE CLUE FROM US-FED BECAUSE OF THE LETHARGIC APPROACH OF POLICE DEPT. FOR THIS FAILURE THE INNOCENT IRRESPECTIVE OF CAST AND NATIONALITY HAS TO TO PAY THE PENALTY OF DEATH!!!!!!!!!!

Taza SAmachar Dont insult brave officers who laid down their life. If they were cowards they could have hidden in their holes like the great maratha warrior Raj Thakre. The fact these police officers faced up to the terrorists is a great act of bravery. The only reason they died is because their weapons were pre historic when compared to what terrorists had. I feel ashamed people like you exist who insult our own martyers. Probably you are a pakistani stooge.

Ok, Ok, Sherlock Holmes. No need to pose these questions again and again on this message board. I accept that you have prepared your question paper meticulously. I hope you have emailed these questions to Prime Minister's Office. Or are you busy posting them on Rediff only?

taj's management was guilty of poor background check of employees!5Y
by Rama Mani on Dec 01, 2008 08:30 PM

Taj incident should be a lesson to employers! There were some employees and some guests who aided the terrorists. Most of the explosives and arms were stored before! Taj’s top bosses and Tata’s will naturally deny employees' involvement! They have no other options but to do it. They have done a blunder. All the logistics were ready when the terrorists arrived. There should be thorough background check of employees and some surveillance of guests too! The US system of having good references from previous employers is also a good system. Or else, one should hire private detectives before employing people and check with the police too. While hiring Muslims be very, very careful!

lets understand one most imp thing
by neekie on Dec 01, 2008 07:54 PM

lets understand one most imp thing that terrorist have no religion. in that case whether they r muslim or hindu or x,y,z no mercy can be granted. it applies to the nation who give them shelter or protection too. if pakistan is so innocent they shud start one strong drive for ground zero operation, as they did it for USA. if they r not ready to do that understand that the whole nation is involved with it.

What a crap journalism?
by Rama Mani on Dec 01, 2008 07:46 PM

Season for this tune: heroism and crocodile tears for the loss of lives! Terror victims forgotten once for all! Next season tune: innocent Muslims are arrested, harassed and so on! This tune has appeal to "civility", "conscience", "secularism", "right approaches" and so on! Very serious tone: the police and army personnel have deliberately killed innocents! What a barbarity! There are more tunes which I can't imagine for these turn coats! See even Amitobh Bacchan's drama. His grand father Amar Singh is taking rest for singing next rounds of ganas!
