Psuchological death is more tortuesome
by mallaiah anchoori on Apr 22, 2008 11:03 PM

The caption of the article does not match with the the focus on the subject it deals with.If the right thinking other muslim countries are skeptical about the terrorist activities like Pakistan &Afghanistan, why donot they outrightly condemn them and issue ultimatum about shunning such meaningless violence, destruction and human loss.As long as this is not done such fundamentalistic counties do not mend their ways and fall in line with all other peace loving countries.True, the psychological and emotional impact of international terrorism is much more dangerous and killersome as people have to live with a fear of every minute dieng. The feeling and thought of death is more toruresome than effective dieing.Imagine the fate of the passegers in a plane hijacked by the terrorists; every minute they would be dieing till rescued or ultimately die.Such a pain & mental agony is inexpressible in words and it is not correct for Mr Gill to say that "the reality and impact of terrorism is vastly exaggerated"Psychological death is as sad & griefsome as physical death & perhaps more dangerous with its memories making people hysteric throughout their life time. One losing kith & kin in terrorist activity would lead only the life of a dead person.Terrorism- whether it causes physical suffering including death or material vandalism & destruction OR psychological torture is to be condemned by one & all irrespective of their region or religion. Let wisdom prevail on terrorist breeding countries.
