But vote bank politics takes care of national security in the shape of supporting illigal immegrants be it in Assam or other parts of India. It is unfortunate that some lumpen fundamentalists have tried to create disturbances in Kolkata. They must be unaware of the social consciousness of common people of the city. No matter what the rest of the world think of them, Calcutta people are the most low profile yet most responsible people I have ever seen. Rioters and fundamentalists, irrespective of religion, have no place there. Congratulations to the government for taking prompt action.

Its good that you could understand the social impact of these incidents and hope you can publish it SOON. You can feel the frustration of the common people coming out of this message board for everybody disturbed last night leaving the offices early in the evening and leaving the work aside.
The politicians who cannot save the lives of common people should immediately resign. They live a lavish life on tax payers money but fail to protect women and children from such acts of terror. Human lives have lost their value in India people are getting killed like ants. High time people realize that such politicians are inhuman and we all should protest such against such people.

All these years these foolish communists gave ration card, Voting rights and all other facilities for these Bangladesh Muslims for the sake of Votes. These communists don't have any regard for the Country's security. Almost 50% of west Bengal Muslims are illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. Now once they are settled in India, as per their Bangladesh Muslim fundamentalist leader's directive they are targeting Taslima Nasrin. They started showing their true colours. Communists are to be blamed for this mess...

Javed we need people like you.. 'Cos that's gonna stop the Pseudo Secularism and Minority appeasment . You want separate Shari laws and at the same time you want to prefer other services from the Governent.. Pick a choice either choose India above Shari or for ever remain isolated
