Xtian Church openly asked voters to vote for Congress and there are people claiming COngress's "win" in Goa is Secularism.

atleast they are trying to bring some balance across historically strong and weak sections of society. this task is not easy. even USA will struggle to solve this eternal problem. even though i am not for full fledged reservations, but atleast this brings more balance in the society apart from avoiding caste wars like recently in rajasthan.

Again for your information the clemency petition can only be filed by the person who is going to be hanged. So according to the Indian law, Congress cannot file a clemency petition. Secondly there is no clause in the Indian law which says that there can be supporters of clemency petition. It just needs one sign from the president thats it. Dont blame the congress for that. BJP was supposed to be the party with the difference so what did BJP do differently? Congress released the terrorists against the release of muftis daughter and BJP released for some other reason. What is the difference ?

I think I have a better knowledge about the relation of BJP and RSS. If you consider SANGH PARIVAR as a tree then root and stem of the tree is RSS and fruits are BJP. 90% of the workers in BJP are with RSS background. As RSS is not a political party, BJP can consider as a political face of RSS. The day RSS direct its people not to vote for BJP it will be end of BJP.
But once the leaders get the power they dilute the ideology of RSS and become useless for people as well as for RSS.
One thing I learned is whoever rule our country TAX Payers are the FOOLS. I been with RSS from the age of 8 and with BJP from the age of 16, It was a good experience and later I understood that it does not help me to earn my bread and butter. In an open society we need educated and committed politicians rather than a particular party or minority/communal organization. The day our people realize this no one can stop us being no-1 in world

Just because of RSS/BJP I feel ashamed now. India and Hinduism which was a vast melting pot and confluence of peoples and cultures, where tolerence was a 'dharam', is now being sought to be made narrow and sectarian. Intolerance is becoming synonymous with Hinduism and there is no difference between the mullahs you criticize and the RSS. I am a Hindu and wonder how Hinduism will expand if we close all the doors and windows of our intellect and funtion in a claustrophobic atmosphere.

Moreover, Hinduism is a way of life and has existed for thousands of years despite innumerable invasions. If Hindus convert it is because of the inhuman attitude of fellow Hindus eg. the caste system which forces Dalits to migrate to other religions, the bar on entry to temples for them and the denial of opportunity for them to prosper. If you are so concerned then you should fight to cleanse these anomolies and Hindus will stop converting.
