Think what would you do in an imaginary situation. A $100 bill or Rs 1000 note is left in an elevator. 95% of us will make good with it, what if the bill is left by a Tehelka camera, capturing you on Camera and it is a fake note? And you are arrested for that? kuch to gaali hona chahiye injaise sadist badmashom ke liye

Picking up a $100 bill or Rs.1000 bill & going to have sex with under age girl are both different things. Are you nuts who can't understand this simple thing?

you mean, if you get a chance to cheat/abuse a child (14 yr old) , you will do it? Is it the same as finding a 100 $ note. I don't think so! It is not the same as playing with somebody's life.

So for you, luring a 14 year old for sex is at the same level as grabbing a Rs 1000 note that you found misplaced in an elevator?

yes, if you talk about 14 year girl, there exists no such girl. Its a 49 year old rotten FBI officer

Subha I don't think you are getting the point here. It doesn't matter whether the FBI officer was a 14 year old or 49... At the time the pervert was chatting to her... he didn't know that the girl he was chatting with was not a minor. So whatever he said to her... whatever plans he made... about sex, about drinking and watching porn... these were all made by him thinking of her as a 14 year old...

talk about high indian morals, family values, karan johar movies and the decadent west with its promiscuous culture and preverted sex habits... yadda yadda

recently there was a covert operation by FBI in Petaluma where 40% ppl caught on charges of paedophilia were from Indian community...

We are such preverts and such hypocrates and yet think how audacious we get in justifying something as repugnant as this....even Indian consulate in Houston thought it was a "misdeameanor". No surprise then parents in Andhra pimp their daughters for 2000 Rs

there are hundreds of american pimps n big daddies who force american teenagers into prostitution.

The only difference is they are close to billionaires and the online geeks are not rich.

My point isn't that this stuff is good. Luring a teenager is bad. But then it is not something special to Indians. Worse crimes are done by the American pimps. And finally, there are enough minor girl who like old men.

I think u have not got the working style of americans. Here rich has no exemptions in follwing rules. FBI will do its duty on anybody in the society who breaks the law. This country is not "Present India". Indians have to learn how responsible the americans r to society.(Such incidents r not part of american life style).
Thank u

Do you have any idea how prostitutes are trafficked in big cities of US?

FBI keeps mum since it is one of the biggest economy driving factor.

I agree with you that whether an Indian does it or an American does it, its bad stuff but what disgusts me is the fact that we as a culture shout from rooftops about the superiority of our culture over decadent west...look at any indian newspaper, website, goto any social do of indians and talk to any indian media....we paint the west as dirty preverted and yet as FBI findings suggests a lot of us do the same thing behind everyone's back...I am sure a lot of Indians are doing such stuff in India(infact a lot of white American friends tell me they are shocked how they get "hit on" by married Indians who think they are loose)...and that is the reason of India having highest number of AIDS cases...and yet we don't desist from making and keeping steryotypes...I would be OK if we accepted that we are as decadent as west or they are as elevated as we are and that all these are individual things

Dateline NBC runs a special series called to Catch a Predator. In one episode they organised a sting operation in northern California near silicon valley. I could not believe the number of Indians who showed up. One of them was Jaswinder Cheema, a sales manager for a large electronics company. Another was Anurag Tiwari, a PhD. A third guy was called Chandran. In fact there were at least 6 people came.
I don't know why the Indians just jump the gun in the name of sex.

so analyze why that happens?. Indians bujurg dont know anything back home but to call western culture bad and influential. Had we been liberal in our views about pre-marital sex, and marriage to loved ones, would such things arise?

This is not the first time that an Indian is arrested for such a crime...If anyone watched 20/20 for a few times in last couple of months, they had a special about Sex predators and that series ran for about 6 episodes....There was always one Indian in each episode...Sometimes more..And the worst part is that all of them were well educated and married with children!!
