Banning people who fight for their just and legitimate rights as citizens and calling them terrorists is not going to solve any problem. The root problem in Malaysia and Sri Lanka is a certain section of the population because of their ethnity or religion or a combination of both agiven more rights and privilegens than the other citizens. FOr these people to be given more rights another people hav eto be denied rights. In Malaysia the Native Malays are doing that to the other migrant population who have beem living there for around 200 years . In Sri Lanka is a conflict between two indegenous populations which had a history of long standing enemity and rivalry around 2500 years but have uneasily cooexisted nest to each other as two seperate peoples and kingdoms. This uneasy but peaceful exixtence was brought to an end by the British in 1833 by forecibly making them as one countrymen. Resulting in the Sinhala majority denying the Tamil minority their just and due rights since independence. But teh story is bascically the same as Malaysia.

Mr Balajee, do you know the plight of the Indian origin persons in Malaysia? They cant buy a land in their own country or start a business in their name. Is it equality.
This is the extreme situation of oppression of Minorities there in Malaysia and all Indians SHOULD OPPOSE this unitedly otherwise we will be tortured in some other country sooner.Shame on Malaysian Administration and surprising the Indian govt.is watching all this ignorantly.

To earn support of DMK or Karunanithi or TN leaders, instead of using the term "Hindu", the Hindraf should have coined 'Tamil..........' etc. Otherwise there will be no support
Why a Jewish can grow his beard in order to practice his faith But when Muslim does the same, he is an extremist and terrorist!

The answer is straight and simple.
Neither the Jews nor Christians or Hindus kill in the name of religion. The concept of using the Sword and now AK47 with words like ALLA OH AKBAR is not in any of these religions.
Besides you do not see the adherents to these religion blow up trains, buildings, humans in the name of their religion.

mr. Kashif, your post is not relevant to the article. nevertheless you have marked out the many finer nuances but I want to make some points too. First point - No one says that only Muslims growing beards are terrorist, the focus now is on sleeper cells which consist of non bearder type. This bias has come down. Honestly about all the choices you mentioned that a Muslim woman gets, how many are allowed to exercise the other option? If the woman chooses to go out without an unrelated person, she is liable to be punished. In these circumstances how can you expect others to think she has made a choice and not a compromise?? This is not the case with either nuns or other women you mentioned. About the religion being mentioned, apart from crusades and clu clux clan how many times have the murdererd murdered citinfg religion as clause? Please contrast that with the number of terrorist who identify them and justify their activities using Islam. With these circumstances why will the supposed biases not exist? What have other Islamic persons done to remove these notions?

I agree with all your points and they are really valid. Only one thing...if all the Muslims condemns but for that all religions condemns killing innocent people for ulterior motives...than no one will worry about all these things. It is really unfortunate that so much of terrorism with Islam as base, hence this purported blamings.
