'As for Hindus, the human rights organization Freedom House reports they have been subject to "rape, torture and killing and the destruction of their cultural and religious identity at the hands of Muslims.'

Proud Brahmin,
What's the percentage of Hindus in Pakshitan before 1947 and NOW? What's the % of Muslims in India before 1947 and NOW? Who has done the GENOCIDE? You people are destroyers of cultures, killers and rapists. You are all barbarians.

sandra, you seem to be a sick person. I feel as if you know everything. Do you want people to beileve in your non sense. People like you are threat to civilized society.
My heartfelt condolences for the guys who lost their lives. The heart bleeds for the family who have lost their bright young sons. May God give them strength. I have been living in the States for past couple of years, the fact remains that you can't even think about going out after 7 pm all alone. Blacks are always on a hunt for preys and they don't think twice to raise their arms on you for even a couple of dollars. The best that we can do is that while we stay in the US, we go out only in groups, avoid going out after 7 pm and if need arises loosen our pockets to save our lives. It all sounds weird, but its a fact. US is a highly unsafe place. I know people will raising questions as to why I am still here, why dont I come back. I will definitely come back, not because India is safer or any such reason but because I am born as an Indian and love my nation. No place is safe these days, kids shoot in school even in Gurgaon. We can only try to be cautious, and help each other wherever we are across the globe. We need to rise above North-South mentality. Some of my most trustworthy friends are South Indians and they are as dear to me as are my other Indian friends.

Mani, Dallas, Rexas - My heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. I live in the USA too. I have friends across all races. Many of my friends are black. To generalize and demeaning the black community, serves no purpose and promotes racism and bigotry . There are evil people in all colors, religions and races. Please don't demean any community by posting such sweeping accusation of one race.In the midst of the tragedy, let us all focus on what can be done to help the families of the victims and not point fingers.

Mr. D VP, How sad that the hapless people were murdered. I appreciate your view:"I am born as an Indian and love my nation". (Almost) everyone coming here from the US in particular abuse India, pose as if they are angels and people living here are fools. Constructive criticism is another matter, but their attitude...

Dude, try not to generalise the things. I have lived in the US for over 3 years in the east coast and mid-west. Even in downtown Chicago and Minneapolis I used to walk back at 2-3 am from the nightclubs it was by and large peaceful.
These are sporadic incidents that could have happened in the neighbourhoods that are largely dominated by poor blacks.

Sandra, your perception is totally wrong. Don't relate everything to Islam. If people do wrong things, it is not fault of Islam. Anybody who knows Islam won't say a word against it, but it's not everyone's good fortune to know about Islam.
Bush has warned Malaysia for teating indians in right manner.Let us see wehter his administration could give justice to indiansby briniging the murderer into book.
RE:AMERICA IS A HIGH CRIME SOCIETY ---- PLEASE KNOW THE RISKS
by Pankaj Gadkari on Dec 15, 2007 10:50 AM
What is the analysis of this statastics?Only figures dosen't mean anything. Most of the countries up to no.9 are developed countries and people and police department are certainly more enlightened about their rights and duties. Its possible, therefore, that more number of cases are registered . however,in a country like India, due to the atrocities of police, politicians, local mafia, rich farmers, jamindars, adverse social stigma, corruption, ignorance and such other reasons a majority of the crimes are not registerd. Because it is practically impossible to believe that India stands at the bottom of the list when its population is more than the population of all the 9 countries put together.
May god help the family members to bear the tragic loss. There are good opportunities in India itself, I don't understand why we should try to get a foreign return tag.
