What a tragedy that 2 bright youngsters should lose their lives like this after sacrificing so much to study! American campuses do not seem at all safe. I hope the criminal who shattered two families will be found and punished. I hope that we will remmeber these men and honour them. Idiotic comments that end up pitting Muslims against the world are downright obscene in view of this horrendous crime. Why do you want to lessen the impact of this incredible waste of lives with superficial comments that have no place here.

It is interesting that rural areas in India are less safe than urban areas. In America it%u2019s just the opposite. If you want your kids to be safe, you move to a suburb %u2014 or even better, you move to a rural town. For instance my friend Sitaram in USA grew up in a rural farming community that had only one recorded murder in 125 years. It was safe for even a young woman to walk anywhere alone in that town at anytime of day or night. They only locked the doors at night during the day, left them unlocked even if they were not home. Nowadays that town has become a suburb of a larger, growing city and the crime rate has risen, although it still is nowhere near as dangerous as the city itself is.

No relation of murder rate and being developed and undeveloped. Murders can be done for a variety of reasons unrelated to money status. Do you know the country with LEAST MURDER RATE IS QATAR FOLLOWED BY SAUDI ARABIA.
