India will not help. How can India help Hindus in Malaysia? Our government is unfit to help even Hindus inside India. Hinduism is getting destroyed in an organized fashion by Islam and Christianity. Sooner our religion will be consigned to museum. Hindus have become cowards and cowards don't deserve a place to live. Hindus are busy back stabbing one another. Hindu intellectuals are busy making Islam and Christianity as the major religions. Good and poor Hindus are doomed. Go Malaysia, sooner it will be India. I am sure the mullahs and arch bishops are gleeful with our situation. This is what will happen to a religion that has been reduced to cowards. Mr.Ali Sher Khan, I know how strong are moslem in Palestin,Iraq,Pakistan etc. They plead Hindus come into their religion fold to upgrade their head count in the world. Islamic brother, don't show pity to infidel or otherwise your own Islamic brothers might chop your head. As you rightly pointed our religion is also a way of life. A way which also treats every religion tolerantly. Go and find about your religion well and see for yourself how tolerant Islam is.
I am in Malaysia for last 7 yrs. So far I never faced any kinds of racial discrimination as well I never known anybody faced. The main objective from Hindraf was here govt gives lot of reservation for Malay. In India we also do the same thing for SC/ST, so what's different !!! Pls don't listen crap from Hindraf and spoil the relationship with our good friendly country. Here still major Indians are with Govt and their party is part of the coalition govt. Probably Hindraf wants to establish themselve as one of the big political party

Well said Sandip. I too have been here since 1999. The Hindraf have made it sound like that have been tortured for 50 years by the govt.
It is natural for any country to have reservations towards certain class.One should understand that although being a Muslim country, one can practice his own religion.
The Hindraf claims that there is ethnic cleansing and temples are being relocated or destroyed. ALL THT IS PLAIN CRAP.In fact you can find beautiful temples here than in India and no one objects to their presence.
Well I understand that Ethnic Indians here are a minority, but so are the Chinese, now why didnt they join with Hindraf if there is so called "oppression" here.
History has it that the ethnic Indians in Malaysia were brought by the British to tap rubber and they brought Chinese from China for their tin mines.
Over the years the Chinese have evolved and have no become a economically dominant population. Now how come one minority race alone has benefitted from 50 years of ruling and other has not. Does it not talk about competency levels amongst the two.
Mother INDIA please think, analyse, rationalise before you support any Indian settlers in other countries.
HINDRAF is an embarassment to all Malaysian Indians and they will realise it soon.
I personally have nothing against Malaysian Indians, but I think Hindraf is pushing the issue too far just for their own self intrests.
In India itself Hindus are marginalized - the PM says that "the minorities has the first right over the resources". The PM looses sleep when a minority boy is detained in UK as terror suspect, but sleeps peacefully when lakhs of Kashmiri Hindus were uprooted and killed. Hendus themselves are very vulnerable in India itself, how they may support the Malaysians?? Hindus are too open-minded. Untill and unless the Hindus unite, it is destined to be marginalised everywhere on earth.

1. Hv u ever stayed in malayisa. if so i am sure u hv been cheated/humilated/assulted by a local indian(mostly tamil) 2. Hv u ever listened a local malaysian talking abt india ? India..so poor lah,people cant buy lunch han even sleep on the road han..and some more it's so dirty, last time i been india i prayed god to send me back from they how people stay there...??i Said..it's our mother land we r happy the way we are..the answer is "No alternative lah for u all. people even can't buy a drink with a lunch, they eat rice only, and some more so many humilating beggers on the road. i really pity on u all." I said r u happy here..The anser "ofcourse lah..i am very happy enjoying my life, i hv a car so i drive it always because i am taxi driver. and i love this country i am very proude to be a malayisan, everything so easy here." You are absolutely right !!! Malaysian Indians have very cheap views about India and Indians .They even claim that the Tamil they speak is accurate ,whereas the language we natives speak is foul. They are lazy and proud peacocks.I agree with Samyvelu's words that the Indians there are lazy and choosy ,which is true .They think they are superior because even the taxi driver there can speak broken Minglish with so many lah's inbetween .. The chinese there have worked hard and have risen up in society .But the Indians ,because of their laziness and choosiness ,are still far behind
Indians had tremendous contribution to the growth of Malaysia. When Islam was taking its foot in Malaysia, the Indian Hindus gave them all sort of support. And now the Muslims, having gained marginal majority over the Indians has started Islamization of the country. The Hindus of India must take lesson from that, and stop all sort of minority pleasing policies like reservation, haj-subsidy, lax attitude towards having 5/10 children etc - and implement strict common civil code. Otherwise within next 20 years India will become a Muslim majority country and then an Islamic state - there will be none to protect the Hindus.
I hv enough sympathy for the malaysian indians,bt being stayed couple of years in malayisa having learnt the culture and locals..now i must say this is boomerang for these so called malayisan indians. i remember they(the local tamil people mostly.) used to ask us.."hey r u from india.. so poor han.. people dont hv money to buy lunch han..so crowded han.. so dirty lah..pity lah.. and many more. and i was answering "boss thats ur mother country..if anything happens here u hv to cry fro their help.. and these buggers used to tell me "I am a malayisan lah..i dont hv to look for india.. i am in a developed country not the one like india".i used to smile. I Agree with you Completly... I stay in Singapore & visit Malaysia quite frequently.
I have had a chance to interact with a lot of these "Malaysian Indians" & till a few months back, they used to get offended if anyone would call them just "Indians".... They used to correct saying "We are Malaysian Indians".... Today in the bad times they suddenly feel "India" is their motherland!... Not Fair

I agree with you... Just coz India is becoming more powerful economically, there is a sudden spurge of patriotism towards India among the ethinic Indians in malaysia & singapore...Moreover, Indian govt has nothing to do in malaysia... It's their internal issue...

Let us look after our citizens who work in intolerable & slavish conditions in Middle East and even countries like Malaysia. We are pitied that they have to venture out to eke out a living overseas. They are not only strangers in these lands, but end up as beat up when they return, unappreciated for their travails.
Already, China is stealing all the goodwill with their soft power. Everybiody favours them over us including US, Russia , Asean, Australia etc. We are already compared for our reaction with them. We are ridiculed that the Malaysians Indians are much better off than us.
We have little choice. The UN, Human Rights etc are better forums. Get real!

Malaysian Indians think that the expatrites working there have gone there due to utter poverty in their homes.We used to correct them saying 'hey ,your country has hired us due to lack of brains '... Because there are lot of Indian workers ,taken there by agents ,alluring them with jobs and moneyand are striving for their livelihood ,they think that India is poor . The saddest thing is that most Indian workers ,who are stranded there with or without proper visa is because a greedy Indian joined hands with a Malaysian Indian in cheating his fellow country man .. I have seen a lot of chinese friends who visited places in India and came back with great praises for our land .But whenever a Malaysian Indian returns ,he only has bad remarks to make ...Why do they need our help now ? We are Indians and have better work to do

i am fm mumbai and was in gulf for couple of yrs b4 moving to s'pore some couple of mnths back. fm what i hv seen in gulf and s'pore i am sorry to say that those mallu's in gulf and the tamils in s'pore hv really brought a disgrace on india's name. the way this ppl live and behave is really not worth mentioning.. in gulf even a mallu working as a sweeper claims to be a post graduate to the locals over there and after licking their ... for a couple of years he will get promoted to a managerial level.. most interesting thing to notice is you ask this ppl for any kind of degree (mba, c.a. etc) they will manage to get it some way or other. they show the ppl over there that they are highly educated and hv plenty of experience but are ready to work for a petty salary of AED 1000~1500. I really wonder that if they are so highly educated why do they go to gulf and other countries for such a petty scale. This is only the case with mallu's and tamil's which i saw in gulf. In s'pore they cannot get a good job by all this duplicate certificates b'coz the ppl here are more smarter than the gulf arabs. So this guys hv no other choice rather than to work in shops or take up petty jobs and I am sure situation in malaysia will not be different. Instead of making demonstrations against the govt for jobs, it would be better if these guys would hv educated themselves. I hv trvl most of the countries fm europe to feast and hv notice that these uneducated shit ppl hv no love for our motherland.
What can India do to help..? India itself was raped and cut into pieces because of the Muslim on-slaught. The congress govt. is bent upon favouring everything that contradicts Hindu religion, culture, tradition and mannerisms. All the Mutt and religious bodies are deaf, dumb and blind.. if not wouldn't we have consolidated our energies with the Cambodia, Thailand, Bali and other lost Hindu civilizations..??!! Actually you have got your equation wrong (apart from that english). The equation is: WORLD minus MUSLIMS == NO PROBLEMS. It is time you learned to live in peace and harmony with other religions.
It is only human nature to help others in need but in this case, we have to be circumspect.
These Indians are in Malaysia for generations. When Malaysia became independent, the Malay race was given Bumi Putra status. Naturally, the Chinese at 30% & Indians at 8% lost out. They knew they may not have a good future and few left for better pastures in Singapore, Australia, Canada etc. The Malays got into a crutch mentality and few of them received great favours. For the Indians, their political party is Malaysian Indian Congress led by Samy Vellu, which is in the ruling coalition. He has support and these protests would have unsettled him, but he dimisses them as trouble makers.
The reality is the Chinese are also in the same boat. If Indians are unified or better join with the Chinese, they will have more voice to get their way. That the Chinese are four times the Indians in population and they have kept low does not bod well. In fact, the Chinese are spread out more in other Asean countries and China treats all as internal problems.
If India overreacts, we will lose out. China has outsmarted us and couple of days back Myanmar preferred them to us for gas. The crux of the matter is the Malaysian Indians will never relocate to India as they see us as backward. More likely, these countries are smart enough to reach compromise as they have thrived in peace & tranquility.
When our thousands risk everything to work illegally in Malaysia, think twice.
