I see so many people unhappy here, looks like you people have become hardcore materialistic animals,... there is life beyond your regular activities, ... Eating Sleeping Mating and Fighting and doing slavery to your bosses...

If you have lost the spiritual significance of life remember your life has lost its very meaning and you are just dry composition of dead elements of nature.

Hey Surya,
Please have a look at the link below. There are photographs with detailed explanation of how Muslim rulers plundered ancient Indian architecture. Our historians out of sheer ignorance, ineptness to do thorough research and political pressure by the so called secular parties, have spread misinformation and ignorance among the general public. As, for the Rama Sethu, even though it might not mean much to you, it is pretty historical. After research by two independent institutions, they came to a conclusion that the Ramasethu is indeed man made as the rocks forming the bridge don't show sedimentation, which is a sign of natural formation. These rocks were deposited over a very short span of time. Please read the book "Forbidden Archaelogy" for more information. Also see these links for photographs on the Taj and other monuments, which have been deceitfully been made to look like tombs, which in reality were Hindu temples.

Peace out.

truth abt SSCP
by Venkat on Aug 31, 2007 06:55 PM  | Hide replies

With out distrubing the ramasethu also canal can be dug as suggested by the committe.
The depth of the canal would be 60 feet, whish is not sufficient for abig ship to go through it. majority of the ships would be big in future , so many wont be going through the canal.
the speed of the ship aslo decreases because of the constraints of depth & width.
And for a ship to go through the canal a pilot ship is required and again u need to pay for the pilot ships , in idia there is shortage of pilot ships whish will delay the time of travel.
the canal should be maintained throught the year like silt removing , the maintance cost is very high
talking all this into consideration it is not economically beneficial.
The ram sethu aslo saved Kerala from Sunami on east. It can happen vice versa also.
all the ships going through the smalll would dump all the oil and spoil the ecology.
This is done only for the benefits of contractors and politicians.
Moreover it is the belif, History ,s oul of Indians

Yes.
A.Ramasamy Mudaliar committe has given 6 channels to build SSCP. In that 5 channels do no cut Rama Sethu. The current channel is the only channel that cuts Rama Sethu. Even Ramasamy Mudaliar had this channel as least preferred channel.

Who are all Pakis heer? How ppl in the loop got wisdom to find that some one is using a fake name like this "Deva Pratap Saathivayal"?

As some one pointed out, we must consider to stop dredging if that is stopping the marine life and the environment. But ppl are not talking about the real issue here.

I'll give you greenpeace activists/laweys trying to save rich coral there.

I dont care if that is the byproduct of not disturbing the Ram Setu.

I'm happy I also contributed to this cause by posting so many website for signing the petition against distruction of Ram Setu.

FYI I'm a tough minded atheist turned FIRM believer. One needs subtle Intelligence to understand the real GEM of Vedic Philosophy/ History.

This is exactly my argument too.

When so may are fighting against aligning this bridge, how many have taken time to see how the bridge is or felt it, when it is soo holy. People argue with some thing what they read in news papers, tvs, etc

.. you can do and say just about anything by the name of religion and God.
Every other unlpanned/illegal building is holy, every other idle person is holy, people will donate huge amount to temples but not even a penny for any orphanage/hospital, courts will decide on religious matters in months and other cases will linger on for decades.
We are a holy nation.....
