This is the extent to which ignorance prevails in our land! Who are these Ram Bhakts? Mostly people who do not have the habit of QUESTIONING or SEEKING THE TRUTH. The biggest nations have been built by a questioning attitude. By scientific thouight. By LOGICAL reasoning. These Ram Bhakts are ordinary ppl swayed by religion. No harm in being a theist. But the problem lies when these naive ppl are brainwashed by blatant LIES. And who spreads these lies? Literate fanatics do it. It is a crime to sway innocent, ignorant masses in the name of anything, be it religion or hate. Indians do not progress only because of some forces that only lead it into the ROT of IGNORANCE taking advantage of naive ppl, of which India has crores.

Surya Kiran is Jehadi. He doesn;t question Marx Bhakts ( They get salary from univ), he wouldn;t question other Bhakts ( read the leftist acknowledgement). These morons think truth is white like the british people and MaxMueller and they must spread slander.

Do you notice this moron never answers when talking of historical assumption of the colonial sepoy ? God save these brain dead rages.

Stupid it is not religion. Hindus have been most scientific in the last 10000 yrs with most of the sciences which were developed as an integral part of the religion . Right from mathamatics , astronomy and to Kama Sutra , every thing has come out of the Hindu thought. The so called scientific thought you are is saying is the western thought which is not more then 200 yrs. What sort of questioning do you want. Ram Setu has been man made and it has been existing from the last 7000 yrs. This has been proved by Indian Geologists . Now dont ask whether the Geologist is a Hindu or a semetic. It is because of Ram Setu that , kerala was not effected by the tsunami . Moreover it will be an envoirnamental disaster by dredging the whole area. Precious corals and sea life will be destroyed. Corals take about 5000 yrs to fully develop. We dont have the right to destroy something in nature which takes such along time. Biggest disadvantage will be eroding of sea coast in the years that follow after dredging.

I find Many sepoys, who had a dead and slave brain to question marxist postulations have found rationalism in this thread. They want to have their own historical assumption that they have learnt from old politics of europe.

Surya Kiran rationalism is to write copy and paste a slanderous passage. Perfectly stalinist practice. Sepoys have a habbit of writing dirty things on their subjects.

George Bernard Shaw on Hinduism
by Pritish Nagaraj on Aug 31, 2007 08:25 PM  | Hide replies

"The apparent multiplication of gods is bewildering at the first glance, but you soon discover that they are the same GOD. There is always one uttermost God who defies personification. This makes Hinduism the most tolerant religion in the world, because its one transcendent God includes all possible gods. In fact Hinduism is so elastic and so subtle that the most profound Methodist, and crudest idolater, are equally at home with it."

Juan (Joan) Mascaro (1897 - 1987) taught at Oxford University, Parameshvara College at Jaffna, the University of Barcelona, and Cambridge University.

"Amongst the sacred books of the past, the Upanishads can be called the truth the Himalayas of the soul. Their passionate wanderings of discovery to find that sun of the spirit in us, from whom we have the light of our consciousness and the fire of our life; the greatness of their questions, and the sublime simplicity of their answers; their radiance of joy..."

The way the Congress govt is handling the RAM SETHU ISSUE shows that it does NOT care for the Hindus of HINDUSTAN . Also the hindus should get together and stop this project once for all . Hence forth we must remain alert that our heritage does not come in danger of being destroyed by pseudosecular elements. I REQUEST ALL HINDUS ON THIS BEAUTIFUL PLANET TO COME FORWARD TO PROTECT OUR HERITAGE WHICH IS ONE OF THE OLDEST IN THE WORLD.

For all those who assume that I'm a Lftist or a muslim: Why do u assume that I am a muslim or a Commie? Can a Hindu not be a brave man enough like me to give credit where it is due? Can a Hindu not be logical and rational? Can a Hindu not question the blatant lies that are being circulated about the great taj mahakl? Can a Hindu not appreciate a thing as beautiful as the Taj Mahal? Can a Hindu not be rational enough to realise that monkeys don't build bridges? Dear RSS mouthpiece, stop being a coward. Give credit where it is due. Only in between creatures(0.5s) steal credit, not MEN! All those who spoke the truth, who questioned established beliefs based on reason were branded initially, but respected in later centuries in History. Do you think that all Hindus think alike, that they have a herd mentality to believe all that is in the scriptures?

Religion is not without Rationality and logic is not the monopoly of the non-religious! Without ranting about how illogical the other side is you should be rational enough to see the other viewpoint and debate it. The ability to have and express your own view is the essence of true freedom. You call yourself a Hindu and go on to make fun of "flying monkeys" - a true Hindu does not make fun of any religion and accepts various possibilities including the symbolism of such things. Have you really understood or know the effects of destroying the bridge on the environment for example or are you just making it a debate between reason and non-reason? Why-for or however people want to save it is their right if they believe in it. And why should they call it Adam's bridge and not Ram Setu - Ram Setu is probably the name given to it by Indians from a long time. Are you saying that we should drop all our names for our own regions - you dont seem to be an Indian.

The atmosphere you see today has not been created by the Hindu - it is due to the intolerance and deceit or aggression of other religions. Left to himself, History tells us, the Hindu can accepts all - it is only when his own religion is mocked or threatened that he is forced to be otherwise. Some of the efects of the political games that so-called secualrists have played are there to see in the extreme stances that some people on this forum take. But I do agree that some of them should use

The historical assumption
by biz Narayan on Aug 31, 2007 08:17 PM

The imperialists left a group of people with a historical assumption on racial description of Indian history, starting with 2000 BCE.

Their rational ( faith) will go topsy turvy if hindus don't agree this outdated european view of history. That the world is far older than 2000 BCE is anathema to these people.

It is amazing that so much rationalism comes out of thugs of different ideologies.

Please leave whatever we have alone.

Protect Ramsethu, our heritage from ages !
by Chola King on Aug 31, 2007 08:11 PM  | Hide replies

Leaders of Hindu organisations like VHP reveal that Indian Navy has refused to help the authrities of Sethu Samudram Shipping Canal Project in blasting Ram Sethu. (No machine so far could break Ram Sethu and so the blasting plan). So the SSCP is trying to rope in the Explosives Department of Government of India for the purpose. Shri. Suresh, the new chief of SSCP, has visited the Project site with this intention. If the Ram Setu were to be blastd, Hndus will be deeply hurt and the whole country will be in turmoil leading to an extraordinary situation, warns Shri. Kuppuramu, advocate and president od Rameswaram Ram Setu Protection Movement. He was speaking at the August 26 conference in Rameswaram. The massive meet was attended by over 22,000 Ram Bhaktas drawn from many states. They came there in response to the "Chalo Rameswaram" call by sadhus and Hindu organisations. The conference declared that a 3 hour road-rail roko will be held on september 12, 2007 topress the demand to protect Ram Setu built by Shri Ram.

See how even police is not allowed to enter the mosques in connection with Hyderabad terrorist blasts since it is sacred.
It is really sad that the Congress government cares 2 hoots for the sentiments of the Hindu community. If it was something concerned with the minority community, the congress government would have not even dared to think about doing something which would hurt their sentiments. The Congress government has taken the Hindu community for granted and therefore befittng reply needs to be given to Congress by all Hindus.

Who gives a damn what you believe? Go to hell for all I care. If people of India believe the Ram Sethu then that is all that matters.

Stop thinking that if you don't believe it then others must also follow you. Only a moron like you thinks that. If people believe in Ram Sethu so be it. Lucky for you Hindus don't issue death fatwas like Muslims do. Can you imagine that? So be appreciative and be respectful for those that have faith.
