We are poor learners of history so repeat our mistakes often. In the near future China is will do a 1962 .... with a difference. This time it will not let off india so easily... Chinese are very secretive as a race ... it is part of their culture not to voice their emotions and opinions forth rightly like the South Americans and USA/Europians.So do not go by what they say but by what they do. In every thing the Chinese do they plan years in advance. They have captured a barren land of land of Tibet for what? Why have they painstakingly built a $4.2 billion railways connecting Tibet with mainland China and are extending them to Nepal? To boost the economy of the tibetians in the barren wasteland? Who are financing the Mao-vadis in Nepal? What have they boosted military presence in Tibet immensely? In the last 10 years they have increased their military might 10 times surprising even USA? Why have they installed survilences equipment in Cocos Island in andamans? Nehru gifted Cocos Island to a Burmese national. Burma in turn leased it to china. They may even have nuclear subs there. THE MAIN REASON IS: CHINA HAS 11% ARABLE LAND. INDIA HAS 89% ARABLE LAND.
every one links it with 1962 but i feel that we can view it in terms of current environment and economies of growing world.As every one across the world that India and China are fastest growing economies and India might even surpass China. i feel the latest Chinese efforts to bring dispute of border to divert and who knows may be there could be some military action in the remote senses.as two of our neighbours are eyeing on our progress and they both are causing border conflict always when any leader from there visit India.. Govt should give a more wide eye on situation. the defence experts know how to handle it..but our business tycoons and economists also should consider this in the new aspect of trying to sabotage Indian progress. a special request to Government and that to keep an eye on another neighbour, adjascent to west bengal..
No china is a communist country & till date this system will not change, this large neighbour will not change his hiden agenda. India should come with a great cinfidence & will power to face all the situations & this is the rising time hence we should stand on our agenda & should not be on compromise position like a lamb.
If militarily speaking a war will not occur with China , a war is already on.Nepali monarchy is killed 2 facilitate Maoists 2 come through Bihar upto Andhra Pradesh.Karakoram highway strengthens Pakistani claim over Kashmir,and China is invading India through unconventionnal ideological warfare .So we can`t even go to U.N.Now Chinese war in India is cheap for China & costly for India.
It is a blunder to think or even discuss this matter. it purely shows our selfconfidenceless. Instead our actual problem is corrupt and puppet leadership. We are lacking a bold leadership. We are in a country which is having a chief minister interrested to pardon a terrorist who attacked our symbol of democracy. Secondaly a minister offering a reward of 1 crore for the head of the danish cartoonist. As per my openion such peoples should be fired first. Insted if somebody talk like these bloody people in China they should be fired. We have to learn from such bold habbit of China.
Indians has a history of slavery to the Arabs, Turks, Mongols and the English. With a mindset that Indian leadership has about accepting brutal assaults on India's integrity as a matter to be lived with, and resolved by talks, they smacks of mental bankruptcy and cowardice. Why does India not lay a claim to Tibet? Atleast it should get it vacated. Have the Americans stop seeing this as an immensely horrific attitude of the Chinese?

Who is this idiot who belittles china's military power to that of india.even america is afraid of china's increasing military might.it has the worlds largest armies and nuclear tipped missiles that can reach america.it is 6 times larger than us and has humiliated us once in 1962 and this so called analyst says nothing will happen if china india go to war.our military will take care of it.our military couldnot take care of our best guarded borders along the loc and this resulted in kargil war.we should not be in self illusion that we won during the kargil war.we got our positions back becuase of intense american pressure on pakistan and nothing more.i have seen pictures of indias fighter jets shot down by the pakistany army in kargil and i guess those who have parents in the armed forces of india know very well what price we payed.we lost some of our best officers to the war.we have a long long way to go.simply because some analysts and political parties say india is shinning doesnt mean we should start celebrating, we know ourselves the state of affairs of our country than the outsiders!and never underestimate your apponent....

India is a victim of betrayal by its own people since the times of Porus. Indians have to fear only themselves as they hate each other while the Chinese are relatively more united. Chinese do not suffer from the Crab Mentality and hence their economy is booming which means they can spend more on defence and are also less corrupt than India as per Transperancy International. That is a proof that they can stand changes better than Indians. India lost the 1962 war because of the foolishness of Nehru and Menon and not because India's defence forces are second to theirs. India can definitely add more warheads as it has to face the twin threats of Islam and China but that is possible only if there is clarity in the thinktanks of Indian politics. US is not afraid of China but clever because now China is one of its largest trading partner so it has to be tactful. I hope this clears my point.

I do not agree with Mr Goswami at all. China would never do a friend ship with INDIA, its a waste of time for it. There is the big difference in thinking. These days there would not be a fullfledge wars as both have Nukes, mighty US is pissed off with North Korea, simply because of a 10 Nukes they fire on US if 1 manages to hit US it would be unthinkable to US, though there would be no more North Korea, same goes true with any other country. But the real point is China wants to keep INDIA in check in all aspects, especially economy, it will have great control of our waters (bramhaputra river and so, as it has gained so much control over our), it is planning to establish greater control over our SEAS, its building ports for Bangladesh, Srilanka, ofcourse PAK. Comon INDIA why are we not doing that, we could do that even cheap for them as its a win win.....shame on our politetions....no one cares for India, serisouly i want to be a very influential politetion for INDIA...aahh.. such a pain...
