Same Story
by Vikram on Jan 31, 2006 12:13 PM

It is always the same story - people are poor, uneducated and suffering for taking guns and becoming terrorists. The question is are Muslims the only people suffering ? Are Hindus not having same kind of problems ? If these are the primary reasons, then I guess people in Rajasthan should have taken guns first.... but we know that is not so. Similarly in J&K there are no such reasons (they have least poverty in whole country) but still it is full of terrorists !!!

All these reasons are just excuses, smoke screens to justify their terrorist acts and try to shy away from calling spade a spade... it is beyond doubt that terrorism is part of their religion and they can never be loyal to India no matter what... creation of Pakistan is a prime example. It is matter of time before another Pakistan(s) are carved out of India.

Telangana No Development WHY ?????????
by INDIAN on Jan 31, 2006 11:14 AM  | Hide replies

Dear Readers,
This has reference to the attitude of the AP state governaments in the past who never bothered to solve the problems of TELANGANA PEOPLE.

Even if you check the 100 Days daily activities of present Rajashekhar Reddy governament he always spend 80% of his time for getting projects in to VIZAAG/NELLORE/VIZAYAVADA and Constructing POLAVARAM on fast track with special attention.

I want to ask Rajashekhar Reddy the CM of AP is he instigating separatism by totally ignoring the development of some regions of the state like TELANGANA?

He also gave freedom to naxals at the begining of his rule and after naxals become strong by recruiting new caders and collecting money by extorsions he wanted to bring army to fight with them and solve the problem which become chronic during his period because of his policies.

Can Rajashekhar reddy,CM of AP explain why he pardoned and released a militant who killed and IPS officer in the past? By doing this he sending bad signals to the nation about his future visuion of AP.

I strongly feel the bad steps taken by the present governament for securing minority vote banks are surely responsible for the current situation in AP.

There is a lot of development after the Nizams rule in Telangana.....educationally, financially, socially.....The times when the Telangana people were exploited by the nawabs and Nizams domination are still visible.

None could reach Hyderabad as of now , a seat of power and justice was provided by the Land Lords and unquestioned .

The usual slavish terms of 'I will touch your feet, Dora ( Saheb) and will eat your shit (Dora ) of the rulers are still fresh in the minds of real Telanganites who suffered to the extent of exploitation of women....Ankur the movie portrays some of the features ofa suffering Telanganites specially Hindus.

Today the women are able to condition their husbands....from drinking and gambling...they are educated and most of the children are educated and employed and settled abroad.....the real estate boom has created Crore patis and only the politicians are trying to devide and rule.

Maximum funds are spent on the region compared to other backward regions of the state.

A divided Telangana will once again get into the struggle days of the Nizam%u2019s rule and could even bring out the old feudalistic exploitation of Hindus.

Not only muslims join terrorist squad....wat will u call the bajrang dalis of gujrath?

maybe the muslims are brainwashed by the pakis who make them feel and brainwash them to think that the reson for there poverty is the mentality of the governmnt towards them......tehy are second class citizens.

this is what the chinese are doing to the youth of nagaland....manipur...

think again my freind.

Need of the Hour
by J.N.Mahanty on Jan 31, 2006 03:27 AM

This is yet another threat to the Nation.
The State Govt and the Central Govt shd leave no stone unturned in dismantling bases of the New Jehadis and punishing the Anti-national Elements as per the Law of the Land thru a Fast Track Court.
Furhter in order to prevent misguided youth joining such infamous Organisation the following proposals may be considered:
1. Focus on developmental Projects in the Backward Districts of the Country.
Stop dividing people in the name of caste/religion/quota/reservation, etc.
2. Help and Guide the Farmers to tide over the economic crisis.
3. Monitor the activities of all Madrasas and audit their incoming Finance and Expenditures.
4. Enforce POTA and implement.
5. Implement Advanced Intelligence Network.
6. Advise religious Priests/Moulavis to guide the Youth to be a good Human Being with Secular Ideals/values and to condemn all types of violence, and also to co-operate with Local Admn in locating Pakistani Agents, who are misguiding the peace loving youth to handle arms and ammunitions.

Indeed it is the duty of all Citizens to remain alert to foil the ill-designs of terrorist groups dancing to the tune of ISI Agents.

Yes It Is
by RC Reddy on Jan 31, 2006 02:25 AM

Hi,

Shocked to read this article, Nalgonda like small town
is it reflects where ever Militants attacks in the Country. But this article was pointing all the people who living in Nalgonda, this is not true, only one community having there relations with terror activities not all people to blame.
The reason which was given in this article is entirely wrong, if it was due to the draft quite some years why was only one community involving in this type of activities, why don't others.
If you love your country and your place, whatever happens it will not take place.
Proud to be an INDIAN, No place in this world will give the freedom to minorities as India gives.

Thanks
RC Reddy

Drought is the cause of people joining terrorists?
by Rambo on Jan 31, 2006 12:56 AM

Do you really think Drought is the cause of people joining terrorists? I am neither a scholar nor a journalist, however in my opinion that is baseless statement. Because of the following reasons.
1. Nalgonda is not only the place hit by drought there are lot of other places. Most of the Andhra was impacted by drought but only in certain regions the terrorism is high.
2. Why only certain group (or background) of people joining terrorist groups? Did drought impact only certain people in a regions?
3. I do agree that government should have handled the drought situation in a better way, but it is wrong to blame the government for the situation. For that matter none of the goverments have better system or policies to handle any natural calamities. It not fair to compare the development and drought situation, they are completely unrelated.
System got to improve in dealing with the situations like drought and cyclones. I grew up in a farming commmunity, I know how hard it is to deal with those things. I didn't see any logical reason that terrorism is being fueled by drought.
P.S. This is just my opinion.
