Poverty all around
by Amit Shesh on Feb 02, 2006 03:31 AM

Poverty is all around the nation. Poverty is the reason for one's vulnerability to anti-social elements and activities, but it is not the reason for one actually becoming a terrorist. ISI and other militant organizations try to correlate the poverty of muslims to India's apathy towards them (conveniently sidelining the fact that poverty also affects hindus). The ones who do join this jihad movement could be buying into this false correlation. This is why we see militancy on the rise. Poor hindus are not becoming terrorists because there is no organization trying to brainwash or persuade them to do so. Certainly the blame falls on those who choose to take this wrong path, and their poverty has a lot to do with their decisions, but one cannot ignore this brainwashing tactic.

jihadis in AP

i am in total disagrrement with fact that Flourine level is the cause for jihadi establishment in Nalgonda. if that so why other poor people of other communities are not becoming extremists. its the religious extremism and the biased constitution of india, its the politicians who bank on minaroty vote and the major minorities who support pakistan not the their own land. its the muslims "first their religion than only the country" attitude. its ashameful as hindu to see the hindus as secodary citigens in the land of vedas. we were ruled by britishers cz we are divided, we are doing the same mistake now and allowing all sorts of favours to minority. hindus need to come together and urge for common civil code or else we will be like this. muslim terrorism never stops

terrorism from poverty ?
by syam on Feb 01, 2006 09:04 PM

the article is lopsided. i have no affliction to any religion.but i say that the reason for terrorism is always linked with only poverty is foolishness.Muslims leaders have to come into terms with the world around us. start doing something to impart modern education to them and once and for all accept that men and women must be treated equal in every aspect and law of the land is above all religions.

SundarSuggula
your poor reasoning
by SundarSuggula on Feb 01, 2006 06:01 PM

Mr. Iype ,

What a poor reason can be there than this?
Flourine is the mother of terrorism!!!

1.I doubt U have conciously ignored the fact that Nalgonda is not the only place where there are terrorists in AP.

2. If you remember Deen -Dar-Anjuman is first terror group which articulated ill famous serial attacks on Churches and Temples in one go in 2000 summer, all were located in Coastal Andhra, and the terrosrist bastions were bust in Guntur, HYD and Bandar of coastal AP

3. A terrorist who is on a life sentence in the murder of Krishna Prasad IPS was released at the behest of Mr. D.Nagendar who was the chief whip of APLCC in the previous assembly and the chief organizer recently concluded AICC Pleanery . This terrorist is recently arrested in a case of fidayee attack on Police STF building.

So any one can easily draw conclusions
1.Terrorism in AP is not because of poverty and draught where everyone else suffered equally in that region, not certainly because of flourinazied water(can be a Natural wonder of the world,if any body defends it)

2. It is there b'cos of political appeasement for mean politics and not caring nation's interst & biased reasonings of people like you

by sue on Feb 01, 2006 06:25 AM

I am trying to find information about a man from the kappum or Shantipuram area. His name is Stuart Gregory Taylor. He ran Taylor High Schools in these area. It is my understanding that there was some problem and he had to flee India during the middle of the night. I would appreciate any information anyone can supply related to this man and the situation that made him chose to flee.

Even if there was a blast in fire cracker factory it would be called as terrorist attack by muslims this is the mentality of Indians towards muslims. No one is bothered abt the farmers and their families of andhra that is the main issue in andhra but they should'nt forget that naxalites who are creating problems in andhra belong to the majority community

Indias myriad problems can be laid at the feet of her callout, corrupt and indifferent govts. Not a single CM so far can be cited for their clean, effective governnance, all of whom are too preoccupied with lining their pockets and horse-trading to stay in power, while treating the people with contempt. No wonder these demoralized people are so willing to follow anyone who either pays them a pittance or promises them an alternate lifestyle based on religious fanaticism. And the federal govt have been playing ostrich, burying its head in the sand, pretending not to see the grave dangers posed by the jihadi's subversion of its youths.

The writer of this article is hell bent on defaming Andhra Pradesh and wants to bring -ve publicity for the state.

This can ascertained by the following facts.
1. Rediff CEO is anti-Andhra.
2. Rediff CEO only wants to bring name and fame to his areas only.
3. Several articles are written about Andhra in a -ve fashion.
4. Osmansagar is not present in Nalgona. This is more than enough to prove the fact the Rediff wants to defame Andhra Pradesh.

thanks a lot, the Mr Stupid REDIFF CEO.

Hey Vikram,
I completely feel you and appreciate you sincere concern about our motherland. Please Please dont get so angry because anger only worsens problems but not solve. To kill fire one must put cold water but not hot oil. If you think about our past, we believe in tolerance and above all forgiveness. In this lies our beauty which no other land on this planet can match. It is not in our nature to follow vilonce for vilonce. Yes i know that it is high time that we take severe actions but it will bounce back upon us. Im not afraid of that but it is always better to make a deal with peace not vilonce. And there will not be any more division of our country. Please dont even think about that, because enough of division has already taken place. - Puneet
