The writer, ironically is sounding nobody less than a fanatic

It is people like this writer & our politicians who are to be blamed for the current situation of hostility between the two countries.

They are fanatics - & Narendra Modi is God - great - what else can one say - at least there are no Gujarat like riots in the communist Pakistan.

There are no Gujarat like rots in Pakistan, because minorities are already liquidated or converted forceully. Whatever is left of minority are too weak and sensible not to indulge in something like odhra, Mumabai blasts - old or recent one.

time and again we have trusted pakistan and expected pakistani establishment to change its stripes, only to repent later. as it has been the case historically, suddenly all the page 3 Indians seem to have been bowled over by the kababs and the street bonhomie in pakistan. and ofcourse we have our own set of politicians to partake in that and share their new found sense of wisdom and brotherhood.

be careful, lest history repeat itself.

The problem was with mentality with which Pakistani dictators approached India. Had they shown some sanity before they could have gained a lot from India's soft foreign policy. This is becuase any country can make fool of India and bag lots of benefits. But Pakistan was adamant. Now Musharraf is probably showing some sanity in making good relationship with India and India might in spurt of emotions give them lots of money or material. Our Government is a fool who falls prey to Musharraf's plan.

From Last Few days I was having an itchy fealing why all this pretension about good feeling and I think this article is really good to open our eyes.
LIKE There is a big difference between orissa and Mumbai Top Notch Places. So do Karachi and inner most villages and which sect represents the face of country.
Once again I think Government should not make this feel good factor bias there diplomatic decisions. One mistake of china is enough for US.

The article is really adept and timely. I guess we Indians (and i should say all the people in world) gets flown into rhetorics too easily without taking the reality into account.

Though it is true that Musharaf is going that extra mile in Pakistan's history to curb the militants which no one else have ever done. But at the same time we must look at the circumstances that made him to do that. After the AQ Khan episode and news of Taliban using Pakistan territory and arrest of one or another Pakistani militant in different countries almost everyday, Pakistan was left alone. So the best trick to regain the confidence and good will of Uncle Sam was to support them unconditionally.

And as always the most hypocrite country in this world USA made Pakistan the Non NATO ally overlooking the AQ Khan episode and absolving Musharaf from this incident.

But India should note that any military normalcy operation if it applies need to take care of the fact that Mushraf might get overthrown in Pakistan. And also not forget he is the principle architect of Kargil and the person who did not came to salute Mr Vajpayee.
