this is one of the best thing that ever hapenned mnow a days. This is the dark part of sikh history but nonethless Jamail singh was saint and its good to declare him martyr.
Whatever reason they put forward to base their view it is not proper at all. The time now is not for such a seperate action but rather to unite whole nation to keep its unity in diversity. And this is the true spirit of India. There is no minority or majority group. All should be same and equal and necessarily united as Indians. The inside fight would easily lead this nation and the societies individually perished. Above all other passions let us keep the passion for humanity.
all this does not forbode well for maintainence of peace in Punjab. Both communities have suffered badly in terrorism initiated in the name of separate sikh state.i dont understand why do they insist for separate state when they alradey have a one, where out of 113 assembly seats almost 95% are occupied by sikhs themselves and out of 13 LS seats again 90% are with them. in administration and police deptt. again more than 85% posts are with jats and sikhs. Hindus are a marginalised lot. Even at national level they get far more recognation. take the comparison of 84 riot hit sikh families without punjab and terrorism hit hindu families within punjab. no commendable efforts are ever made to rehabilitate later and a lot of charity is doled out time and again by the centre to former. inspite of all this favour still they complaint. how fare this all is?
It seems quite absurd to declare a person martyr who waged war, hatred inside the country. We should be thinking of our country first rather than fighting for individulastic states and rights. It should be asked what has been the contribution of Bhindranwale for the country as a whole.
It is sheer bad luck that we still are living for our own rights rather than thinking of the country as a whole.
