Lessons from Kashmir

Our Forces have always delivered, whenever and wherever required. We have held our heads high for their achievements in spite of inadequate resources. It is the politicians of this country who have always brough shames for our country and put our heads down. Well ther are very few exceptions and ny pologies to those leaders. I wish the Group of Politicians wakes up, values the life of its citizens and gets the courage to take sustained/determined action against terrorists.

All salutations to the brave Indian Army

Great article, General!

Amidst all the depressing articles of so-called Indian journalists (like Praful Bidwai) belittling Indian Army's capabilities in front of our arch-enemy Pakistan, your eye-opening article on the strengths of our great army has come as a pleasant delight.
It makes one aware of the ground-realities, and makes us people (who are sitting in comfortable AC rooms) realize what hardships our Army brothers go through.
I implore you please write more often such articles.

I only wish the political leadership reads such articles, and musters up the courage to rout out these terrorist hounds.

God bless our great Indian Army!!
Jai Hind!

Political will is missing ..... this has been the problem everywhere

The Major-General is 100% right. This bleeding war has been going on for too long. The Indian army is capable of wiping out the insurgency if only the politicians were firm and clear in their thinking. We have weak-kneed leaders who are afraid of upsetting uncle-sam at every step. They have stopped thinking as leaders of a sovereign nation, and are behaving like tin-pot dictators looking to the US 's approval for every act... one step forward and two steps back...This way, the army will never be able to register any victories. On top of it, you have the media which is only after stories, without any thought of national security or interest... in this maze, it is amazing that the army is scoring successes at all.

Good show, Indian army... We common folks applaud your sacrifices and bravery under adverse circumstances....

Jai Hind.

We hope that the last sentence of the article comes true. If possible at the earliest.
