A very good piece of effort- I liked reading it. What sets it apart from the usual stuff is, the author writes it freely, the quotes are mentioned clearly. The author takes takes opinion of a cross section of people.
It would not be correct to compare SIMI with the VHP.
SIMI is an Islamic Fundametalist Organisation .You need to be a Muslim in order to be a Member of this organisation. It also supports the Islamic terrorists and its activities. As seen through their posters potraying OSAMA BIM LADEN as their Hero. Hence it is a Terrorist Outfit which should be banned in India.
VHP on the other hand is a Patriotic Organisation which believes every Citizen of India should be Local to this Country. Moreover any person from any religion can join this organisation.It also carries out Social work to a large extent.

I completely agree with you. How can you compare SIMI with VHP, and such other hindu communities? Their hero is Osama Bin Laden...have you ever seen any such product of any Hindu community? If hindu community tries to spread it's wings, everyone starts shouting of communalism, but when there is a organisation like SIMI, where membership is based on religion, people especially muslims feel it's secular country and it's their right to do so?? Why this double standards?? And moreover Islamic movements are the ones which are involved in blowing up towers and trains, killing innocent people. Have you ever seen any such Hindu movements??
