I would see the movies of Aamir, shah rukh, Salman and Hrithik ..they have their individual styles, delightful and entertaining.
Jeetendra, Rishi Kapoor, etc..got lucky because of glorious music produced around the time. No one remembers or noticed them falling on fat women and running around bushes ...they were forgotten outside the cinemas and bedrooms. If anything, they only motivated a miserable population boom with their single-minded pursuit under the salwars and sarees

Very very correct. Indians subjugated for thousands of years behave like that. Even the inhuman rapes of 5/7 year olds is drawn from the same mentality that accepts with tong a rupee coin on a night soil lump, even though I am a millionaire.

Rishi Kapoor is a classic case of pot calling the kettle black. Its not that public won't appreciate good movies. The fact is that Bollywood has bankruptcy of ideas. Where are good meaningful story writers today? Is Rishi trying to say that good stories exists but deliberately not translated into movies? There is a bankruptcy of stories that's why they are making biopics of sportsmen. Bollywood has reached rock bottom bec good stories have drained out.
How can he demean the artistic sensibilities of auto whallas. More than anyone they know if the movie is good since they have spend their hard own money on that.
