micro economics

in west godavari villages there are farmers who produce 60 to 65 bags x 75 kgs paddy per acre as against the normal 45 to 55 bags x 75 kgs in a 4 month rabi season. How? their holding is in a few cents and converted to per acre production their cost of production and per acre yield beats all estimates. but can you compare this small farmer to a farmer doing agriculture in 50 acres and yet get a record production. this is the fallacy in the logic comparing a small time move and a mega budget movie. no malice here. this is pure math and economics.

Dear anil sir,

first of all there is no comparision between gadar & bahuballi.& how we could say gadar earn more then bahuballi-2.actually you check your gadar wikipidia s per the wikipidia gadar is made in 18 crore & & earn 78 crore..& you are giving this statement & you are comparision from gadar.if you want to compare from bahuballi to your cinema then you should compare from veer not from gadar or tahalka like.because when veer was came then multiplex was there but veer didnt do perform well on box office..

His reactions and comments prove that, there is a huge divide between North and South. North people generally does not like South people and think themselves far superior to South just because they are a little bit fairer.
Bahubali is a regional film and regional film making such amount of business is commendable. There is mind set in Bollywood that content presented in South films does not appeal to National audience, hence they remake many south movies, twisting their storyline for the North Indians and the result just an average business. Bahubali has shattered all that myths, this is exactly the reason for the fear in Bollywood because now the whole Indian movie goers have understood that South movies are far more better when it comes to content, technology, acting, story line and above all the Indianness in the story and not apeing Hollywood.
Bollywood should start looking beyond Khans, who are careful to make movies which will not hurt the sentiments of Pakistan and muzlim countries and as a result the Indianess in their movies is lost completely.

chandraleka(s s vasan- 1948) and bahubali (rajamouli): these are the two landmark films that makes us proud and no other film can surpass its grandeur. Incidently these are the only two films that did well in both regions north and south and were trend setters with dramatic scenes and settings .
