It's a well known fact that, Raees is based on the life of Ahmadabad-based gangster late Abdul Latif. Shahrukh Khan met Latif's son before making the movie. You are right Mr. Syed Firdaus Ashraf, for pointing about the late poet Wali Mohammed Wali. Now the question, who finances these movies, when any Khan brothers are in the leading role the director gets loan on simpler terms and the interest rate also becomes low, being a writer you must be knowing about these, no need to inform who finances for these heroes. We have good actors available in 'Bharat' but still Pakistani actors get the chance. Why ? Is it to please some one, who controls the Bollywood under the carpet. There were good instances happened in the past, good literature were also written, why not movies made on those great work. Now the question arises who are glorifying these anti socials and what pleasure they are getting. Is it not the time Mr Syed, Muslims unite and boycott these types of movies and show solidarity to other communities.

forgot to name the main reason why there is community based stereotyping in the film, which is that the film is targeted at the hindi speaking audience, one of the stuxpidest segments of humanity !
Admittedly, saying so is stereotyping too. But this is a stereotyping that rings comparatively truer considering how it is the hindi speaking regions of the country that keep electing the worst exploiters to power over and over again. It is the hindi speaking regions that, by electing and re-electing all manner of thieves, compromise the welfare of its commoners and result in these regions remaining generally the poorest and the most backward in almost all parameters of human development.
