The striking students should be given a final notice and if they do not end this irrational agitation and strike, they will be removed from the Institute.

'How can we go back to FTII without our demands being met?'

ans:

1) Do not go and waste your academic year.

2) You would continue to act as puppets in the hands of politicians

3) You are wasting your time and destroying future of other students

4) You are wasting hard earned money of your parents

5) Continue the protests and destroy your future.

I watched the debate on Times Now yesterday evening. The student representative was filibustering all the while. He had no rational explanation or justification for the strike. If such people come to acting, how can the films be good?

He was doing this in the nationally noisy little sense arnagoosami show because this self proclaimed national judge has decided that students have the right to do what they are doing and was in fact cajoling that student.GOVT MUST NOT TALK TO THESE FELLOWS, AND THE LEAST IS EXPEL THIS STUDENT IMMEDIATELY

Close down FTII.
We Indian taxpayers are paying 12 lakh in subsidy per student every year!
Film making and acting does not require taxpayer subsidy. Let them pay the full fees.
Privatize the institute and let the students choose whom they want.
In this 6 week strike, each student has cost the taxpayers 1.5 lakhs of wasted subsidy.

Why should govt close the institution? The students who are on illegal and unjustified strike should be thrown out and their names struck off the rolls of the institution.

1. Left and congress are using this as pilot project, if this goes as per their plan they would continue such tactics in other institutes as well.

2. Govt MUST NOT give in.

The childish leader goes there and alleges that RSS is doing all this! He says that mediocre is being promoted. First this mediocre person should look within and how he was catapulted to VC post ignoring hundreds of grassroot workers who have made their way up by hard work, loyalty and perseverance. The senior leaders in the party should be ashamed of themselves on seeing this national tamasha.

Why Govt is allowing strike to go on.Action should be taken against I&B Ministry for doing nothing to resolve the imbroglio.Either ,they should rusticate the students or arrive at a compromise.Govt funds are being needlessly wasted.

Stop the subsidy of 12 lakh per student per year! Let the scu_mm_bbags pay the full fees instead of us citizens subsidizing their education.

Film making and acting is not a critical field where taxpayers have to subsidize.

These students should be expelled
by Vineet Nagar on Jul 31, 2015 03:11 PM  | Hide replies

All striking students should be expelled. No where in the world students ever get involved in deciding who the school,s or a college,s principal or director will be. They are being used by some vested interests.

Government should expell them right away, and ask to vacate campus. If need be arrest them send them to jail for disrupting an institute. A jail or will make perfect director for these useless students.

I do not know why FTII students are being treated with kids gloves. If it was any other institution, they would have been rusticated long back.Striking students like Nachimuthu should be immediately rusticated with a black mark so that the majority innocent students can start studying.

Yes and some nice prison treatment by the cops will do them some good in waking up to reality.
