It seems all have pre concieved every thing against Chauhan. I do not understand unless and until he is tried . How will we know about his cvapabilities? Besides, she is talking about inspiring others. That he can do it only if gets a chance. If the thing goes maybe tomorow they will say we dont want Modi as PM. The government should rule an dbring this down with iron hand, brecause students ar there to learn not to play politics supported by few the so called ex students and congress rules stooges. Its time they learned that the new Government means business not just timepass. Tax payers money is being paid for the students. Better the students realise thuis also. Also she is speaking as if the entire film industry was run by she and few others like Rishi Kapoor, and some others.
Clear politicking is at play, and whoever says he has been chosen over and above AMITABN & RAJINI and the likes, must also know that all the students who passed out of FTII, are not SATYAGITHRAY,OR ADOOR OR SHATRUGAN SINHA OR JAYABACHANS.
No doubt Amitabh and Rajini are greatest actors and are legends in their lifetime,but how well they are suited to head an institution is a mute question.
The students are influenced to fight as though they are persona par execellense even before passing out their course.
The way CHAUHAN is being questioned at interviews and treated shabbily by the media itself shows that they are wrongly influenced to do so.
The way MR.CHAUHAN handled the discussions and interviews clearly shows ,he is the right person to head the institute, if not he is the only one.
It is purely out of envy many are blaming him,and trying to prove they are well qualified men around, maybe how well they are suited the position in hand is a question to be probed.
Celluloid world is a world of its own and blaming someone even before assuming charge as not fit in itself reveals many.
All cant be AMITABH,RAJINI, and all cant claim superior and qualified than CHAUHAN.
He should be allowed to head FTII, and students cant claim to select their head as though they are omnipotent , and afterall MR.CHAUHAN is not coming from civil services ,or from private work and he is from the industry and well experienced and seems to be the right choice.

In the past no one has ever objected against anyone selected as Chairman of FTII the way way people has objected against selection of Gajendra Chauhan as Chairman. Even Gajendra Chauhan has no convincing explanations defending his merit as a right candidate. At last after putting all his futile efforts to defend himself and according change his stand conveying that he is being selected by the government and people should ask question not to him but to the people who has selected him.looking into past, many great personalities as the head of FTTI has failed in delivering the desired results and certainly no one should expect any miracle atleast from the person like Gajendra Chauhan.

Rajni and Amitabh are used by Modi for elections only. Amitabh gets a good amount for spreading Gujarat. He is beibg use and throw. FTII Gajendra babu is a RSS karakarta and must have paid a hefty amount for the post - Corruption at all levels. Is there no good man for the post in India - Shyam Benegal, Rajni, Amitabh etc

Such is the state of the affairs in FTII, our 'premier' institute. Obviously, there is much more required than mere "inspiration"!
Coming back to Gajendra Chauhan, he has worked in ~150 movies, including Andaaz (2003), Baghban (2003) and Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge (2002), & 600 TV serials, including of course Mahabharat. Why isnt he a suitable candidate? Is it simply because he doesnt have a glowing body of work? By that logic, Anshuman Gaekwad & Duncan Fletcher should never have been cricket coaches!

Thajur babu, Gajendra babu is BJP karakartha so the post and not becuse of his ability. All the post head will be from now on given to RSS karakathas. Don't rack your brains Rajni and Amitabh are used during elections only.
Its an unfair saga one actor degrading other first of all there are no rules for this game,some people may be has family back ground and born with silver spoon....and student no where directly connected but its case of clear poly tricks
It is unfortunate that the students at said institute can afford to waste valuable study time in a uncalled for protest bussiness.R they students or proxy political stooge. Chairman of the Ftti is not directly concerned with inspiring students individually then why they should protest on his posting that does not relate to their creativity.Try to be Ek-lavya and improve creativity you so called students who are enjoing on tax payers money.Do not try to politicise non issue but concentrate only on creativity with or without Chairman .
Its pathetic that now the election is being forced on a selection process. I have never seen that students are selecting their teacher in the colleges. rather if they don't find the institution fit they go and find out other options. Here in case if FTTI we are seeing that students have brought the institute to ransom and are dictating the terms to the government. Now it seems that in future the government has to ask the bodies about their own heads. I am not supporting Gajendra but the way the bad blood is bein infused in FTTI by some old timers that is not good for any institution of repute. Tomorrow IIT students will also start demanding their own directors and then IIT will also start remaining closed for months together ...Students must be advised to concentrate in their studies than making the things political.
Yes Bjp is becoming highly parochial. Surely he cant be the choice for this post even by a long margin. How many more such saffronizations are we going to see
Gajendra Chouhan is a B grade actor who acts in C grade movies.
He has been appointed as Chairman of FTII by I&B Minister who is a C grade actor who has acted in D grade television serials. Besides, she has also submitted fake degrees to the Election Commission.
