Its offensive but has to be taken in a lighter vein. Humans are chained under the umbrella of almost everything imaginable. At times we need to let go the inhibitions and set ourselves free to enjoy free life.
This may be very offensive for an orthodox person, but a like minded person would just laugh out loud and keep it a side..
There are many other issues like forced conversions & gender related issues which require immediate attention.
your jokes can and will offend someone else especially on certain subjects in which case you need to be careful
every person has their own weak areas those who claim for their right to joke need to understand that there are other who proclaim their right for religious diktats whom we often label as fanatics
everyone needs to respect others feelings you like crass jokes fine do it with people who like it and dont post it to the whole world where everyone can watch it
it takes time for world to evolve and there is no reason that everyone will start liking crass jokes

This is very much ridiculous examples freedom of speech. Don't favor this kind of vulgar show and doing criticism is not 20th century mind set but it shows your Hippocratic view in this cheap/third class and bakwas show.

Reapected Abhijitji, my ammijaan will not like ur beedi. Shee is used to my faader's cheroot.
Frankly the roast on comedy central go far beyond what these guys did. And talking about Indian values, umm, the Indian society is far from following the values given to us by the forefathers. Are we respecting our women, uplifting the poor, keeping the children from slave labor. There are far more concerning issues the gentleman must be concerned about than protecting Indian values from a group of comedians.

This is a poor argument repeated ad nauseum (richa sharma, esha gupta etc., on twitter). Do you mean, till we solved problems related to women, poor and children we should not look at anything else?

Franklin is just trying to prioritize things that need to be looked into. And AIB is NOT one of them.
