The main Culprit
by pranav trivedi on Apr 14, 2015 04:38 PM

After Reading the Article it seems the main culprit for every film industry is the Multiplex ticket pricing.Yes as said all small films which we call indie should also get proper show timings .

PRESENT SCENARIO ON FALLACIOUS ASSUMPTIONS IS UNSUSTAINABLE
by MMK Rao on Apr 13, 2015 01:21 PM

Days are gone when the cinema was used for a sensible purpose as a powerful medium for enlightening individuals and society based on ideals like Tyaag for family/ society/ nation, and Sevaa. Great story woven around noble ideals , catchy but meaningful dialogues, music that is not mere mix of jarring instruments and discordant notes were employed for best results with a reasonable return for the financiers and satisfied audience that returned home with a bit addition to their wisom and moderated or broader view of life. The present scenario pins its hopes of making unlimited amounts of money by an artificial hotchpotch of poor blending of human and computer graphics whose ugliness is all too obvious. The various interests of this industry must realise that this scenario cannot continue except, for a short while since it has become intrinsically cannibalising, due to the meaningless, excessive emphasis on high pressure adverising, increasing neglect of what really appeals to the intellect and soul of the 'average' spectator and mindless recourse to irrational and axiomatic assumptions that the spectator is an utter idiot who must be exploited for the sole purpose of money making.

If bollywood's poster girl is Sunny leone with its lead singer as Yoyo Singh, you dont need somebody to kill. Its called as suicide(Death by any means).

Check from last 5 years, howmany films flopped and why? Bollywood needs to reinvent and no external diktats will hurt as stupidity, nepotism and blind imitation of south

Sunny Leone is becoming famous in India, not because she has some extreme talent in her, its because we Indians are that cheap to give her this glory

Bollywood is killing Marathi Cinema Industry
by pritesh salvi on Apr 10, 2015 08:58 PM  | Hide replies

Bollywood must first know the Stepping stone for bollywood was laid by Late Shri Dadasaheb Falke, who brought cinema in India. Marathi is the local language of Maharshtra so where will Marathi people see Marathi films if they are not given prime time. Why such indiscrimination only in Maharshtra whether it is beef ban or promoting Marathi Cinemas. Cities like Banglore, Chennai, other South cities are too cosmpolitan but they give preference to their local language first, then what is wrong in Maharashtra does it ? And Bollywood has target audience of entire India and abroad too, whereas Marathi Cinemas has limited audience in Maharshtra only. Its a perfect decision.

the real reason for marathi or regional cinema not getting popular in their own state is not because of hindi or bolly...your actors ditched marathi and went for hindi for money, glamour and stardom...madhuri d, lata m,asha b dont want to stay in marathi... why is that... how will marathi cinema come forward if maarathis ditch them...

Why don't you leave Maharshtra if you have a problem here, Now Please dont tell me that every Indian has the right to anywhere in India. Yes everyone has the right but everyone is expected to follow the law of the land. So better follow the rules or please leave.
