the real reason for marathi or regional cinema not getting popular in their own state is not because of hindi or bolly...your actors ditched marathi and went for hindi for money, glamour and stardom...madhuri d, lata m,asha b dont want to stay in marathi... why is that... how will marathi cinema come forward if maarathis ditch them...

JAI HIND JAI MARATHI

I want to watch regional language cinema. But it is available only in matinee show. Its not possible to watch matinee show during working week days as the matinee show timings clash with office work timings. So sunday is the only option. But sunday I did not get the tickets. Next sunday the movie was changed. So I could not see the movie I wanted in 2 weeks. Who gained during those 2 weeks the national language movie industry. Who lost the regional language movie audience. If the national language movie makes Crores in those 2 weeks they should also allow the Regional Language Films to be screened in prime time i.e. 6 pm to 9 pm and 9 pm to 12 midnight. So that office going people who are the main audience of regional language movies get to see the regional language movies of their choice at the times of their choice and availability after attending days office work.

Pick up some theaters where only marathi films will be screened 24/7 like cable TV. Select the theaters area wise so that all the people will have access to these theaters through out Mumbai.

The need of the hour is more single screen theatres with low pricing and realistic snacks pricing.
Meanwhile, the Govt. can withdraw Tax sops being provided to the Multiplexes and leave them on their own to do business, as they wish !

Exactly. It should also increase taxes on cinema to help pay for the farmer distress. Enough of pampering rich moneybags.

Bolywood, the shame industry

Most unproductive, dirty industry. Gone are the days when this industry gave a lot to society including entertainment. Now it is polluting young brains, virtually nothing to offer anyone.

Exactly. It is just a huge softp0rn industry which has no originality and copies blatantly from hollywood.

No need to pamper it while farmers are dying. Raise the entertainment tax further.

Also all these bollywood slime should be asked whether they have given up their LPG subsidy. Making crores for producing vulgar movies and still taking LPG subsidy should not be allowed.

True, this industry has spoilt the society to the extent that for sake of money these people can go to any extent and even bare their body polluting the mind of youngsters and leading to violence against females in society. Freedom of expression does not allow them to exceed the limits of decency.

Well said. One cannot be limitless in the name of freedom. Limit of one's freedom is when it starts encroaching other's freedom.
Bollywood's has overstepped its limit now

In a few years we will see Deepika Padukone like characters going full-frontal nudity in the name of art.
