Film means fantasy.Films are for entertainment.Anytime,given an option, I will opt to watch Sholay rather than films like "party" or "Janam". The so called parallel cinema or art-house cenema are good for awards only.A huge number of people earn their livelihood from cinema.The art-house cinemas can not earn a decent livelihood for those dependents on film industry.Only commercial cinema has the ability cater the needs of so many dependent on film industry. Cinemas are not the reflection of a society, because if it is so then America is the most dangerous place to live on earth as per what is depicted in their movies. Every country and every society have their unique features, one must celebrate such feature instead of feeling embarrassed.Like Rakshabandan is unique to India only. Friendship like love is most celebrated relationship in India.What is there to feel ashamed about it.
