Yes, though she may not be as highly educated as the phoren educated Chidu or Aiyar,she is intelligent, articulate, honest and decisive. These qualities are more than enough to make her a good Minister than her highly educated predecssors in the Con Party. If a bimbo like Purandeswari could be made HRD Minister then why not Smriti Irani? As far as Maken's comments are concerened, they only show his petulence and arrogance. Has he ever asked Sonia Gandhi or her son or daughther waht qualifications they posssess for projecting themselves as potentials PMs?

Nothing wrong in Smrithis ministership.The so called erudite MAKAN, CHIDAMBARAM,Manmohan,SIBll all were utter failiures.otherwise INDIA will not be rated as a country of corruption.They might have embarked up on researches as to how corruption can be ramified, during their academic days.Let them study first that accusing persons for simple things is not expected from national leaders .NATION FIRST &persons then.
Why such a big hue and cry over Smiriti's academic qualification? This is not USA but India. The President of US selects the experts in any given field whereas in India any ignorant/illiterate can occupy any important position. Finally .. Kyuunki Graduate bhi kabhi illiterate thi' O.K.?!
