No-one India takes movies seriously because none makes movies worth taking seriously. 90 % movies are trash and rest are failed attempts to come above the mud. We seldom have a good movie, may be one or two in a year ! And irony is the frequency of such movies is decreasing with time.
Ninety nine percent of the films are down right trash . Each actor with over 25 years experience is one multiplied by 25 they learn nothing and are pathetic - there are no exceptions to this
They are making films only in keeping in mind of youngsters there are certain movies title in English what does it mean are hindi films fading out original taste yes only glamour left regional films better than bollywoood movies
indian fils didnt learn the art of using this visual msdia to presenting things with intensity and effectively most of the movies are like beer bar kind of entertainment..yo cant expect more.. if you need it you have it.. if you make a movie of war .. all the protogonists have girh friends and all of them sing .. sad and happy songs.. if you make a song on mahatma or vivekananda or budd or anyone.. they start singing.. in india movies are only for entertainment.. nothing to do with intense story telling
why do all serious films that these directors make have to use a lot of expletives, cuss words, more than half the characters having a degraded, amoral or criminal mentality? are they any way representative of the world that we live in? they are simply making the society insensitive to negativeness in human character and can end up being potentially dangerous to the society.
most of these movies directed by people like anurag kashyap, dhulia and sudhir mishra not only have no plot, but worse they dont have any social message either.
