He died in many movies e.g. Devdas, Premabhishekam, etc. I am sure every one would have cried in those movies. Today he is very old, the death may not bring tears to us, but that is the greatness of living long. We all have good feeling of this great actor whom we have grown up with. May his soul rest in peace. Interestingly Telugu Devadas's death happened soon after Hindi Paro died! He had Devdas malli puttadu movie too!!!
Akkineni garu is legandary artist, no doubt,he has also amazed great wealth for his family, his great grans children acting,since telugu filmworld is dominted by big 5 families, others not allowed to act, ntr family, nag family, chiru family,krishna family,ramanaidu family,other people no chance to act, hence most of telugu artist acting in tamil films,like vishal reddy, mr radha naidu daughter radhika naidu,etc, tamil film world is of naidus only,but telugu filmworld is only that people, Anyhow, he is good actor and dance is good,may soul rest in peace.

an absolute atheist who was chairman of TTD Board for years. You can imagine what would have happened the offerings given by foolish people.

A great film actor who left behind a legacy &I had the opportunity of meeting him during his daughter's marriage reception at a hotel in early 1970s.Saw many of his films and appreciate the good work done by him.Rest in peace dear ANR
