I feel saddened nd disappointed by this tragedy if only her family ensured her treatment for depression esp after she made an abortive suicidal attempt as reported. I feel her support system of family failed her and cannot be absolved of thei failure Dr Sudarsanan Consultant Psychiatrist

i soo agree.. her immediate family could hav done wonders if they had taken her to the doctor n councelled her along with proper medication to traet depression. why is it that people FAIL to realize that depression is like ANY OTHER ILLNESS. it needs too b medically attended to. they would have probably saved her precious life!! indeed v v sad...
I am very shattered by her act. from past 4 years I do not have a job though I am highly educated. Lost lot of money in business & financial markets and rputation a well. But I know it is not an end of the world . World starts from where u stand. Not from where Your eyes see. Look at your self not others. It is matter of conditioning.

It's like, everybody knows it... but no body speaks on it... Casting couch is also one such ugly truth of the silver screen... which almost all must have undergone, but no body dares to accept or confess
She was good. For women in the film industries the life is like walking on two sided sword, look after the work and self dignity. I think what lack here is courage.
There is more to life than one's occupation, look outside there is more suffering, at least you don't go hungry to be or without any roof.
This is your opportunity to do something for the society rather than feeling depressed. if you can't run walk, if you can't walk, crawl, but keep moving forward

well said, but to understand such thoughts , you need to have a social circle, mingle with people, go out... Left alone we will be destructive in our thought process..that's the way humans are
