Critics on rediff never write good about any movie. I request you to Look at the movie as common person and give reviews.I have'nt read a good review on rediff for any movie.
Masterpiece movie by every angle...I almost cried at some moments. Milkha Singh is made of some other material. He is right in saying that no Milkha can be BORN again. Farhan is just stunning in this movie. He just gave Goose Bumps at some points in the movie. When the screenplay showed his achievements, when he won medals and tons of medals for the country...his sheer hard work...his struggle in his childhood...his fight for survival at the time of partition is just depicted magnificently in the movie. I think if one movie which can give you so much kind of emotions fun,thinking,fighting spirit, fury,hate and above all patriotism in one movie this is the one! Tremendous Direction, story telling, background score and screenplay and to top it all...GREAT and Inspirational Acting by every Actor..even I surprised by Yograj Singh in coach role, he really showed the way to all coaches in India as far as Coaching Attitude is concern !! Oscar nomination to banta hai Boss! I think rediff has done real injustice this time for masterpiece like this which can inspire even a Rock!!
Beautiful & Inspiring Movie,Only those intimate scenes should have been Censored, for the entire family to watch alongwith the kids. do not go with this Film Critic Opinion,probably she was not invited fr the free screening of this movie and she took out her grudge against it.Go and Watch it, Truly Inspiring Movie

I think those scenes has been shown to depict the heartlessness of Milkha's Brother-in-Law and when Milkha singh became intimate with girlfriend is just to show he was a normal youth who carried away and loss his focus...that is why he slap himself several time and rejected the proposal from a beautiful swimmer saying he is now 'Fighting with himself'. Its just showed that he was the normal human being and not a superman who can be distracted by girls...full marks to director!
Its disappointing that you are a critic in the first place! You are no different than the average common man who only enjoys a entertaining movie with loads of item numbers, slapstick comedies and absolute nonsense. When a truly soul stirring movie like BMB comes along, you find it slow. Surprised that a slow movie like lootera was given 5 stars! But this slow yet heart touching movie is panned. This is why India never comes up. Its because of such people. If u r not a true Indian, you will continue criticizing. Its jus like one scene in the movie, where milkha singh loses the olympics n ppl start burning his efigee forgetting everythn else! Jus one word for the review! SAD!
A truly inspiring movie and a must watch. Not the usual bollywood rut, but a movie with some substance. Farhan Akhtar's dedication and professionalism is out of the world.
