I was forced to reiterate my patriotism: Shah Rukh Khan

What is wrong in to prove someone's patriotism? If you are patriotic & you speak 100 times in a day that I am patriotic even then it insufficient.
Why are you shying of it ?

Unfortunately...
by Diya Desai on Jan 30, 2013 08:22 PM  | Hide replies

everything he said in the article and in the clarification has just been proven right by the narrow-mindedness of people as evident on this forum as well. people are foolish and idiotic to judge everyone else on every comment they make yet when it comes to themselves they act as if they speak facts that have no basis of judgement. honestly i think he should not have even given a clarification and give into the idiotic mindset of a few unintelligent people. yes perhaps you are better off SRK for being more like Salman and Aamir - as people like those that are afraid to speak their mind so openly unless it's something said in a politically correct manner. BTW all those bigots who say he is an actor and shouldnt talk on nething else, who the heck are you all first identify urself and lets see if u have any right or brain capacity to talk first.

Hehehehe...love is blind and this moron lady loves herImaginary man over her country and claiming to be very wise by calling others foll. You better sit and watch his movies made for dumbs like you and don't poke your nose on matters threating our country, brain deads like are not fit for it. And if urge is becoming very high sit at home and many Hakla look like (Any ordinary street walker has better looks than him minus Halka irritating voice and stinky expressions)would come to fulfil it.

Dejected Mr. Khan
by Mayank on Jan 30, 2013 08:19 PM  | Hide replies

Mr. Khan lives a public life. If media criticizes his films, he squarely defended in several occasions. But when public criticizes his opinion about religious views or social views on religion, he defends them in a very strange way. Many times, his social or religious views have turned into very different light and flavor, often redefining patriotism by his own definition. We haven’t seen this occurrence with other film starts practicing and born in a minority religion, nor do they indulge in a kind of persona that Mr. Khan possesses for his profession. Whey is that so? His persona is his private matter but when he operates in a public domain, he must be ready to take a punch on public life. The statements from across the border are political and even a naive can understand but reacting to the press conference in the backdrop of his personal printed opinion is quite strange. It puts a pause and raises a legitimate doubt that some personal ambitions (whatever that may be) have taken hostage of his identity and out-smarted his social views. If you pay attention to his words “What I wrote was actually meant to reiterate that on some occasions my being an Indian Muslim star, is misused by bigots and narrow-minded people who have misplaced religious ideologies for small gains. And ironically, the same has happened through this article, once again,". The simple question arises, what is so special in Mr. Khan that is being misjudged by narrow minded people and is

When a person is very successful like Shahrukh, people start taking his every word or even jokes seriously. Same time if a common man like me will say anything serious, people dnt even listen it. I wish someday i become as successful as him.

SRK is cheap guy who fails to cope up with the falling star value in comparison to Salman Khan,Amir Khan etc who are giving hits after hits.First he makes the issue of security checks at NY airport and then makes a film with controversial title MNIK in addition to his gimmiks in IPL . He reminds me of Azharuddin who tried to play Muslim card after being nabbed in Match Fixing Saga.

It's annoying to see some of the imbecilic and inflammatory statements on this forum. You have the audacity to judge someone but you fail to even see what incited the controversy in the first place.Read the original article that the actor authored and you will find that he has been largely misquoted....

Whats wrong in what he said, SRK is one of the richest supper star with massive national and international fan following but has recently fallen on some bad patch. His audacity to make news is not helping his cause at all. He now seems like a person with massive stress out of nothing. SRK seriously needs to calm down and think before he makes any statement on religion which can easily be hijacked by any one, let alone Pakistan for that matter. Look at Salman the guy went to prison for killing Black Buck when the entire UNIT ate the kill, he didnt call it anything but the fact that he did not know that he was doing the wrong thing, he came out vicotrious. Admission of mistake is a BIG step towards success.

Problem with Khan
by xbm on Jan 30, 2013 05:37 PM  | Hide replies

The problem that most people have with Shahrukh lately is his arrogance, He may be a good actor or richest actor or most successful in the industry or he may be better than the other two khans, that is not the point. Success gotten to his head. When people call him King Khan he reads it as "Emperor Khan", that is the problem. He thinks he is the only smartest guy in the country just because he is more vocal. He needs to learn a bit of Humility.
