This ban, in reality has nothing to do with iz. lam or molzem sentiments. These small good-for-nothing fanatic outfits like TN mozlim munnetra kazhagam wanted free publicity as people dont even know such crap parties exist. some 4yrs back, another fanatic shit party Hindu Makkal Katchi created problems with Dasavatharam. Sadly this is hapenning at the cost of a legend's sincere and dedicated work. Hell with them!!

Its surprising.. Kamal himself like many urban educated middle class is merely a pseudo-secularist, who never had the courage to speak truth of religions other than hinduism.. he is not an atheist but merely an anti-hindu..

but you got to know that, a major junk of TN as left for AP for good, which was the best to thing to happen to TN since independece.
I think we general public of indians are meant to watch only mediocre movies being produced and any such world class/message based movie will be prohibited by fanatical/muscle powered groups thru Govt. This is totally unfair on the Govt and sections creating it for some one like kamal sir who lives/ breathes cinema and want to give quality film to audience. It shows how TN govt can be bent by any minor group in the name of communal disruption.
