I hope this time the audience encourage this brave attemp by Kamal and make this movie a big hit. On the same time bollywood is releasing a usual romance masala, something we have seen in hundred movies. Matru bikini mandela starring the overacting and annoying actress. Everybody should give it a miss and watch the grand spectacle Vishwaroopam in DTH and theaters.

apdi podu thala. innum 4 naalu dhaan. annan vishwaroopam ulagathukku theriya povudhu. NI media appa pinnaadi nakkikkitu varum paarunga.
Kamal sir, on behalf of millions of your fans I wish you all success for your bold venture. Nobody has as much guts as you do. You are an inspiration for all. Vishwaroopam will be a grand success sir. No doubt about it.
Vishwaroopam is going to become the biggest hit in Tamil Cinema. Only Kamal can surpass Rajinikanth's Enthiran collections and we are sure he will do it. Kiddos like Karthi and Santhanam are releasing their movies on Pongal and they are going to have their fingers burnt by clashing with the King. RIP kiddos.

nobody can stop Kamal Haasan. Vishwaroopam will be another Apoorva Sagogatharargal in the box office.
Whether it is a good movie or not, whether it is of world class standards or a local masala, any Kamal Haasan movie is sure to get a very good opening in Cities - A and B centers. A theatres like Sathyam or Mayajaal can reap in huge profits for at least the first ten days of its release. In the case of Vishwaroopam the hype is so high that you can expect unprecedented crowds during Pongal season. Its competitors Alex Pandian and Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaya can not even dream of matching Vishwaroopam. In such a scenario, the decision taken by theatre owners does not seem to be a wise one.

Very well said... However there is not even an iota of doubt in me that its a world class movie by all standards....
People like Barrie Osbourne who have produced Matrix and the Lord of the rings are not fools to appreciating the movie and Kamal...

This man is known for his innovative and path breaking methods. He is the one who introduced digital film making to tamil cinema. the one who proved that songs or even dialogues are not required to make a movie successful. the one who recently brought in Auro 3D. why wound the industry not encourage him? even if they dont, his fans are keeping his fingers crossed to see the magnum opus on silver screen.
leave it to the producer to decide if he wants to show in theatres or DTH or roadsides. He has put the money and let him make profit or loss. You watch it wherever it is cheap, if you are interested. I do not think one loses anything if he does not see a film on the first day in theatre. It is okay if you see the same film in the TV free of cost after 3 months. If there are crazy fellows who are diehard fans of an actor let them spend thousands on rupees for the first day first show in theatres.
