A film comes good when it makes 100 crores in 40-50 days ..that means picture is hit..and also people like that film...and it become hit by mouth publicity not like this...overhype and all ....During holidays 100000 students went for some entertainment and during that time they just visited some theaters thats all...but lets see in coming days.....any way best of luck...can this film ever overcome sholay film..there are lot more films like that ...

Now atlast SRK decided to do one masala movie by giving his only 5% of his talent..you see the result!!!. SALMAN KHAN SHOCKED!!!!!! How come SRK did different geners and still collected 100 crores !!!! Ra one (sc fi), Don 2 (action thriller), Jab tak hai jaan (Romance), Chennai express (Masala). Now he must have understood why we call SRK - THE KING KHAN!!!!

Selling a Ticket @ 500/- will definitely crosses 100 Crores. In era of Amitabh people use to see the movies @ rs. 5/-. Hence SRK is not so great. Not only SRK but also Ajay Devagan in Sigham was a Super Hit !

man at those time pictures was made form small budget ....please correct your fact ...nowdays its cost a lot make a movie ...
collecting 100crs in 3 days dosent mean chennai express is a good movies.. its a boring movie,total waste of time. its the same old bollywood strategy..start giving hype about the movie 6 months before release, then the actors go to every malls and reality shows to promote that crap movie. atlast release the movie worldwide in 2000 screens on a festival or on a long weekend and these intelligent bollywood fans go watch that crap in first weekend. so its no big deal that the movie collected 100crs in 1st weekend..and the producers declare the movie is blockbuster hit.. next weekend it wont even collect 1000 rupees..BTW the producers got their money back and how much did distributors and theater owners collect ?
chennai express is boring film, no story its a cofuse drama, what they want to show in this film they himself didn't knew. SRK overact. disappointed with this film.

chennai exp is 10 times better than thalaiva' thalaiva is 2013 big flop take some cool drinks and check up bp because of chennexp collection may be cross 300 cr

All this people have a strategy, They will release their movie on special day and will screen in all the cinema with maximum screen in their name.. therby by not allowing other movies to be played. They will also buy reviewer to say positive about the movie for few day hardly 7 days. so during this day, common people thinking the movies is Hit will go to see and when they return they get fooled. But by this time they have already earned 100 cr... So if movie flop also..means without any proper content will get hit

Its not a sin to strategise. Do u have anything new in your kitty? Whats wrong with the idea that a movie should run , have a wider excess to the audience and make money. At the end of the day its also a business laced with a huge tag of gamble.Your opinion looks good on paper. If that was so why SRK film JTHJ couldnt do well inspite being released on Deepawali? The bottomline is Movie is doing extremely well because it could connect with the audience. I this business no strategy works if the product is bad.
