And his marriage, there is nothing great in that. Afterall both of them married second time and everyone know how they were earlier. Please Ms. Sanghvi do not stoop so low because you are a journalist and famous with your writings. If you want to write there are deserving people to write about. At lease you spend your energy to more deserving cases

I am really amazed to see the support that Sanjay Dutt is getting. Ms. Sanghvi must know that millions of children who lost their mother, father or both at a tender age. You cannot argue due to his mother’s demise he has done all unwanted things in his life. He had a loving, caring and thorough gentleman father who has taken care of everything for him. What he committed is not in his adolescent age but after he became an adult and all the luxury was at his disposal. He was a junkie all his life and never taken any constructive work throughout his life. Being acted In Munnabhaia MBBS he should be pardoned was the stand taken by some wise people. All these arguments are laughable. I lost my father (who was in armed forces) at the age of 9 years and my mother had to struggle very hard to bring up three siblings. I still remember how the old pants of my father was converted into two half pants and had to wear the same to school and one shirt which was stitched with ration cloth. Most of my classmates used to make fun of me; but I never complained to my mother or sisters. Whatever pain I kept for myself and struggled till at the age of 30 and married off my sisters and constructed a house for my mother. He is famous and doing his rounds in party circles cannot deserve him any pardon. He committed a mistake and a mistake is a mistake. And his marriage, there is nothing great in that. Afterall both of them married second time and everyone know how they were earlier. Pleas

Sanjay`s is not a mistake. It is a very, very serious crime, and he has already received all the sympathetic consideration by the judiciary.

He cannot be criminal.
by KS MADHUSUDAN on Apr 08, 2013 05:30 PM  | Hide replies

Had he been a criminal; then in real life, he would not have been or behaved the way he did; hence I support that Sanjay Dutt should be spared - he is already punished enough & no more. The age old laws need to be changed to come out of such catch 20 situations for good people like Sanjay Dutt.

To descibe him as a good person after his conviction by the highest court of the country is an insult to other really good people

CBI was very soft on him, hence he has got very small punishment. Moreover how someone becoming good after committing a crime can b basis for pardoning? U can't hv different laws for the ordinary person and rich persons. It is just a case of a famous and rich person being singled out by bollywood, many politicians, Kajju etc for giving pardoning

All the drama of crying before the media and that too before her sister not wife, why? How can a person who has been in regular contact with underworld even 5 years after being caught with arms be innocent Mr Katju. It is because of judges like you that India is in such dire strait.

i feel ashamed about Mr Katju now who had given very good judgements in the past. As an ex judge of the highest court ogf the country he should respect the judiciary and should not support pardon for any convicts.

What foolish logic you have? Sanjay may be a misguided person but once a Court has decided the verdict,we should not go on endlessly discussing the same and coming up with many reasons.By your logic, all criminals will start claiming that they were victims of circumstances in the youth and took to criminal activities by mistake and should be spared.Go and ask the victims what they think of all this debate. You have formed an opinion of Sanjay on what you have read.Do you know him personally and can you vouch 100% that he has not done anything illegal?
