he is a star son given footage by media and even his flops n avg earners r made to look like biggest blockbusters. he is however better than imran khans, hashmis, shahid, and AB jnr type of bottom of the barrel but he is definitely no star material without eng media's support which he has in abundance.

Am sorry to say I disagree with your headline, the craze once generated by Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh was phenomenal, even today the movies are a pleasure to watch, with all the Hype and Marketing I don't see the Son anywhere near the wonder couple in fame or acting, Ranbir should retire with his fourth class girlfriends and leave the Stardom to the people who can give the Industry real good hits, which it desperately needs..............

I hate when people comeup with, he is no where near the ones at our times , he is not like his father blah blah blah.. Ranbir is a great actor and Rishi kapoor didnt have the courage to tread the offbeat path like Ranbir is doing today and doing with style.
