Yes everything is copy of something. AM is saying that we need something fresh. Every movie's story is the same ...nothing fresh. Very few you get like Barfi, Black, TZPar etc. The rest are all standard movies: SRK with two actresses is common since 2 decades! So singling out SOS on this issue is not right. Same about the age too. All Khans are over 45, so most of the movies in Bollywood are all aging actors. In this repsect South has now gotten rid of its older generation and now new people have stepped in. In Bollywood it will take another 10 years at least for that to happen. So AM is wrong on that count too. Now when it comes to lameness, which movie in India has been logical? Again singling SOS in this respect is also wrong. So he can at best talk about performances, music and direction. So 1 star is a biassed incorrect rating as SOS is no different from any general Indian movie is many respects. If AM is consistently giving 1 star to many movies, then it is a different matter - but then he will not be critic, will he?
The issue with some of the critics is that they look at movies from their own perspective and do not give a review that should ideally be from the point of view of a larger movie going public. If it is a personal review then one must not call themselves a film critic, it is more like me or someone else writing a review.

Abe yede which critic on earth writes from the point of view of public and how on earth are u going to find the public point of view
I have seen this remake in Kannada. It was very entertaining. Doesn't matter what the story is. It is how the story is told. May be in this case AD has done a bad job.
Nice review. The storyline looks so lame. Anybody with a little commonsense and watched the promos can understand that this movie is an insult to our senses..

My sincere advice; please change your name from DeshBhakt Hindu" to some thing that sounds more jingoistic. You are a hindu alright, but certainly not "deshbhakt" because a true deshbhakt will not decide his likes and dislikes based on religion.

True I suppose. But I dont have a problem with the Golmaal kind of films as long as they are fun to watch. I even thought Bol Bachchan was good. But this one totally lost the plot
