Kamal haasan as spent more than 53 yrs in film industry and knows every hook and corner film making and does all the activities in real and got a dream track record which other actors can only dream , still indian govt not honored him properly may be due to he his from south fact is that india's more than 70% revenue generates from south film industry...where as in the indian cinema other some other thing happening ...

The Governments, in general, are very traditional and wouldn't dream of honoring a legend like Kamal Hassan since he is not only a rationalist but also a has a left-leaning ideology. Imagine the Government giving a Padma Vibhushan or a Dada Saheb Phalke award to someone who is dead against Wal-Mart, but I am sure Kamal wouldn't care any less and would go on doing things he believes in. Even his new idea of releasing his Vishwaroopam first on the DTH platform is a big risk which even Hollywood wouldn't dream of taking. Hats off to a true giant who has always trudged a risky path in a career spanning over half a decade.
I wish Kamal Haasan a great birthday.. wish you many many happy returns of the day Sir... You are the greatest actor of the country.. and would always remain so.. Wish you a long life and a long cinema career further as a director and a script writer..
Dr Raj standardised acting. No matter what role he was playing, he was Dr. Raj in it..and the role that he played always came second. Thats why he is called a standard actor.

Dr Raj is good singer no.1 in kanada,raj him self refered in a interview, when it comes all the actors acting skill our sivaji ganesan is like actors tilak every actor has to watch him to shape themselves
In TN, the audiences do perform milk abisekam for their favorite actors. Build temples for heroes/heroines. Quite number of mad fan associations for all the heroes/heroines. Fan associations live and quarrel each other to please their respective heroes/heroines. In AP, the audiences do perform milk and Blood abisekam for their favorite actors by sacrificing goats and sheep to please their community/caste actors (kamma naidus) Tax evaders and spend huge money lavishly for their marriages but the poor Telugu men are becoming naxalites. This type of stupidity can’t’ be seen in kerala and I think even in Karnataka too.

Dude Mallikaarjun!! grow up... Dr. Rajkumar is undoubtedly the greatest Kannada actor but thats it... He was nothing beyond it... Acting only in Kannada cinema is no hounour!! Its a drawback... and 1 of the biggest reasons to have got lost just in Karnataka and not even being known in the neighbouring states of TN, Andhra and kerala until he was kidnapped by Veerappan!! Thanks to veerappan for his national popularity later...
Also Rajkumar never survived 50 years in Cinema... unfortunately died before that...

Off course Dr Raj is Very big their is no one equal to him in kannada all the other kannada present and past kanada biggest actors are below 50th level of his status that does't mean he his greatest see tamil film where you can find greatest legends of indian film industry in each and every field of film industry..majority of kannada and other indian languages copied from them ,..
Well, there's no reason for Indians or fans of Kamlu hassan or James Bond Kanth to go crazy.. Ang Lee is one of the best directors from Hollywood and just like other Hollywood Big names its pretty sure that he would have never seen a Tamil movie in his life, leave alone Kamal or Rajni's movies.. and he doesn't even care to watch them. he's just being polite to the host, that's all..
